Thanks mate, when will you be joining this thread then?
So...I bought it! Got about US$ 335,00 at discount in a site, that was in promotion, compared to the others , so I couldn't deny the offer
One fantastic thing that had impressed me, it's about the earphones that I already had read about, but the sound made by them it's really amazing! Better than my headphones!
About the camera, I see it's really good, and decent for what I wanted. I tested some pictures already, just got some lil noise in some pictures but I know it's question of "training", I've been testing a bit about EV also. But the great feature about this cam its really the macro mode, that it's excellent. Some pics I tested it:

Damn. Dude, welcome to the club and for a first timer that's one helluva post you got there! Congratulations on your new phone. Yes, the default headset is excellent, at times better than my USD130 noise cancelling Sony headsets. Very nice quality photos, seems like you can handle the cam pretty well, well done Where'd you find Wall-E?? Seems life size which is super cool
@masada1971
Well, it's supposed to be a Cybershot-Walkman hybrid as touted by SE themselves so such competency level is given eventhough it is no C905. But most of friends who have C905's 'think' W995 has a better camera based on the images I show them, but that's just because they couldn't be bothered with technique and only expect results totally oblivious of the process I've went through
@Bonovox
It's a Python, I had to throw caution in the wind to get that close to it and was fascinated by the long, long crevice which I never knew snakes had. Hard shot too since it's always slithering its way around as it was getting dark and getting a good still photo without Xenon (and probably needed to be forced with some modded driver at that) seemed almost impossible
@jake20
I fully agree, if only. Damn SE for consistently making us choose But I knew exactly what I was getting into and it was a conscious decision, so nothing else to do but improvise. So far I've managed to get the cam to work the way I want it to everytime, only slight frustrations but rarely so no regrets

Thanks , some time ago I had a digital cam before and it wasn't so “modern” (it was 3mp, when in that time the best ones were about 5mp max), a Mitsuca hehe. It wasn't a bad camera, but to take good pictures I had to familiarize with all the options and testing the functions. So when you said about being “patient” with the W995, I knew I would be , since the Mitsuca one was my only long-time experience with digital cameras . Just needed to have sure the W995 cam was able to take good shots, which you proved it very well . The rest we keep “training” to explore the full capacity of it.
About the Wall-E, I work in a toy company hehe , we are licensed Disney, so we lived with lots of Wall-E in 2008 (the movie launch) , this one was in the table of my work mate, but it isn't original life size, it's one that transforms into the “box” version. But we had the U-Command Wall-E which I guess it was life size (well, I'm not seller ) and very cool

Well, that wall-e looks really cool, I'd settle for a miniature one if they sold it here

Yeah mate IKEA photos, well half of them anyway
Here are some pictures from the great outdoors (not really, it's a bird park ) It was a gloomy morning, the water was muddy from a prior downpour and it was cloudy with diffused sunlight but nature triumphed nevertheless

Hi, the great thing about threads like this is we let our photos do the talking. Words are cheap round these parts, so feel free to browse around and judge for yourself. We at Esato go through a lot of experimenting, testing and thought process for your viewing pleasure so don't let these photos go unnoticed, enjoy

Here's some lowlight photos from earlier this evening I've also made some comparison between C905 and W995 in one of the earlier pages of this thread.

mode's shots are always excellent, and the W995 takes great pics, no doubt.. but you say that the xenon flash on the c905 hardly makes a difference?
this is where I would say you are incorrect my friend.
the xenon flash of the C905 is its most valuable feature, and really the main key difference between these 2 cam phones, as far as taking pictures is concerned.

technically speaking in the night shots posted by mode they are really clear and i never thought they'd turn out like that, thought they'd be alitle dark like the w902...i know the xenon flash is a huge plus but in those photos you could think there was one |
