Does anyone find the reception signal quite poor on their c510? I live in high quality signal area on Orange and all other networks except 3UK and on this phone the signal is poor at times. Fluctuates way too much on GSM or 3G. Wonder if it can be improved with new firmware? Anyway i am off to visit family in Ireland for one week now so cant talk on here for while.

don't look only at the camera. even if K800/K810 is somehow better it's not that much important. C510 is a new phone in good size with good features and the camera. maybe more expensive but not much I guess

Was able to use one of these at the weekend, really nice UI (voada branded), much easier to use than my C902, the media player is very fast as well, a lot faster than my c902

I recently sold my Orange c510 and bought a sim free future black one from CPW. Its great i love it. The black one looks sexier am using Vodafone sim in mine but for some reason Vodafone live page does not show properly like it should. Other sites are fine just not Vodafone Will just have to wait till its compatible on their network. Vodafone store were confused why it does not load properly since they stock the phone. Their website does not show internet settings for the c510 for some reason. Oh well.

Carphonewarehouse have an exclusive white and red version of this phone. But its only on Vodafone which is unusual for Carphone to do such a thing. I have no idea if its branded though. Also since i got my sim free future black one the LED flash is better for some reason the range on it reaches further across the room. Before it was lucky to reach to someones face. So far no problems with this one not even screen problems. Also on my previous Orange version call quality was rather muffled. With my sim free one on Vodafone its more clear very strange indeed.

Just received my C510 yesterday, am pretty happy with it so far. However, I've noticed one problem when sending an sms and trying to access "contacts look-up", the phones becomes unresponsive for a while before it shows the contacts. I'm on R1DA029 and I know there's newer firmware but the service centre here does not have it yet. I don't want to do the update myself, but I would just like to know if anyone else has this problem and whether it's present on the latest firmware. Thanks!
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

Yes, I've read your thread, but I didn't know you've gotten yourself another C510. Hmm... I've always thought it was safer to get it updated at the service centre. But with regards to the update process, is there any difference between getting it updated at the service centre and doing it myself? Cos I've read that doing the update through SEUS only updates certain portions of the firmware.
