There's a rather stupid bug in this phone's software... The play-button on the side of it doesn't work.

Mine works mizzle, tried it several times, and haven't found a bug in it thus far.
How do you like it?

think its just 2 different glasses. (one harder and one softer...scratch proof is very hard...like IPone). BUT maybe w902 have same mineral glass as T650..im not sure.
it dosent mather anyway. screens have awesome color-reproduction...thats all whos mather.
about screen protector, i think its really unnecessary... it just makes the screen more dull... use a Ipod sock for example. it fits perfect, and you keep the entire phone clean & safe.

I took your advice and got a sleeve to put it in made of velvet. Should work.
On a sour note It has to be replaced on Wednesday due to a loose battery cover. Anyone else seen this with the W902?
I paid full whack for mine so I don't expect these sort of issues. I've also had the side buttons freeze on me a few times.

Can't say I've tried out the mineral proof glass. The whole front side is a magnet for prints.
With a bit of luck hopefully I won't ever be able to tell if the mineral glass is good or not |

if it shuts off by itself then its firmware related....
maybe thats why they didnt release it globally... they wanted guinea pigs to test it..
hehehehe kidding! hope this one reaches the Philippines...

If you are in a desperate need for changing the firmware of the phone you can use totalgsm to flash it instead of waiting for SEUS to release next one.

Just got my replacement handset today. Unfortunately the back cover is loose as well. Not at all what I would expect, but it seems I'm the exception. I would have liked it to be nice and solid like the C902.
For the moment I have kept the sticker that was in the battery door on which has helped a bit. Just hope the sticker doesn't get too hot. |

@deaf
if your looking at sellers who sell in US dollar, thats why the price is so high. these sellers buy their stock in usd. so with the current poor dollar, their price to buy phones via wholesale has risen sharply.
hence the extra high price

Mine arrived yesterday from expansys.com - loving this phone! Very smart, good build quality, lots of great features and HSDPA is super-fast! Sound quality from the Walkman is excellent too with a range of different presets. Camera quality is great too.
Only thing I will say is that the menu system is not quite as fast as it could be, but that will no doubt improve over the next couple of firmware releases. |
