the best low light pictures I have seen actually.
You had better check the Imobile 902 which has CCD sensor and captures amazing low light shots.

2 years old and still kicks all the others competitors.
Funny thing is that the sensor is Sony's. Well, it's obvious SE wasn't established to compete the market but to make money. SAMART, a thai company succeeded creating the best camera phone in 2006 - the imobile 902. If it had some support or at least multi-language interface, i'll buy it for sure.
think c902 doing pretty well, (easily one of the best night cameras ive tried)

Can you please upload this picture in full size? I want to see the details...
Check the imobile's full size picture, it kept the details with a bit of noise. Moreover, I would really like some of the forums members to compare the xenon flashes of N82 and Imobile 902 (AbuBasim?:)) in complete darkness, it's very interesting to see which phone can handle better.

Trying to get full size photos from plankis is like squeezing blood from a stone

The flash on the i-mobile 902 is the weakest part of the camera. It is too weak to be useful for almost anything. The only flash photos that turn out well are slow-sync flash shots.
Here's an example of a flash shot in complete darkness. The distance to the end of the room is less than 3 meters. My son's bike on the left is about one meter away. To get this level of brightness I had to use ISO 200 and bump up the EV to +2.
As you see noise goes up with ISO 200. For these kind of shots I prefer to shoot in black and white.

To the N82 owner...
Chill yourself dude, I said "Are you IMPLYING I'm an Idiot" I didn't say you called me an idiot.
I know how to use a mobile and I know how to use a Camera. I was saying that regardless of how good the camera is or how easy /hard the camera/phone is to use, I don't care... I want a phone that works properly, is well built and easy to use, the C902 is exactly that. The N82 is far to OVER complicated, Nokia really should ditch the awful PC style menu system they have going on their NON smart phones and even tidy it up on the smart phones.
It is each to their own, just annoys me when people come to a thread meant for showing pictures taken by a certain camera/phone and start debating/arguing over the fact the phone produces fringing etc etc...
Just start another thread and title it " Is the C902 camera any good"? or "Nokia N82 Vs C902" the title alone is provoking an argument, there are plenty of fan boys ready to dive in and argue their point i guarantee it
I for one am not a fan boy, I will give up my phone tomorrow if i think their is a phone that is a better coomplete package that my C902. I just want to look at the photo's and discuss improvement techniques etc.....
Enjoy people

Now we start a good and civilized conversation...
Well, C902 is a good phone of course... have nice details... but for now i still prefering the N82, because is more functional for me (GSP, Wi-fi, good video record, N-gage, Symbian, 5mp camera), i know N82 isnt a beauty phone, but for me beauty phone calls thiefs (heheheheheeh).
Is certaly, i will change N82 for another advanced phone (I wait for a new release camphone with best camera and symbian)
Ah! You arent idiot my friend....
Love or hate me...  Nokia 5120 -> Nokia 6120 -> SE T200 -> Motorola V800 -> SE W800 (stay with my wife) - > SE K800 (stay with my mom) -> Nokia N82 Silver -> Nokia N82 Black Edition - Firmware v30.0.019 -> What is the next??. |

I'm not here to knock phones, just to see what my phone can do
I enjoyed my N82, but in the end it was functionality over features. I do really miss the video recording, no phone comes near the N82/N95 for video recording, it is amazing. Who knows, if Nokia improve on The N82 I will again own a Nokia.
Here are some more pictures, all taken on Auto, some in Macro (the flowers)
I really need to update my phone but it is branded by 3UK, so if anyone can tell me how to debrand to the latest generic firmware I would be happy |

Judging by the sample pics here and on the camera photos section i can safely say C902 camera beats K850 camera hands down it's very nice to see SE 5mp phones reclaiming the quality standard they used to enjoy on the 1.3, 2 and 3mp category. i'm really impressed with the image quality even at full scale(very deep yet natural colors and nice details) up to now i still feel sad that SE did not integrate xenon flash on it or at least developed an A200 compatible MXE-60

@elementz,
Amazing shots there! I remember you posted some snaps from another 902. How do you compare photo quality between these two phones?
