I agree. Those original photos and official images didn't do the phone justice. I actually felt the same, and it wasn't until I saw a few more user images that I decided I liked the look of it. So much that I went and got one lol.

Ya know when this phone first came out i thought it looked boring. Having played with one its damn sexy and have a solid weighty feeling without being overly heavy. Even the box looks sleek
Well the look reminds me a lot on T250... Haha, but you will realize that it is 5mp cam beast inside...

I agree too. When I saw this on SE website my first thought was ugly. But after see in flesh and couples of user pictures then realize how it is look originally. |

Guys, have you used a screen protector? It is looks to me it doesn’t get scratch easily and I don’t want to ruin the gorgeousness with attach a screen protector. My question to all who used C902 while, is it get scratch easily? What is the condition yours?
How about you @Muhammad-Oli? I know you have this from not so long ago but what do you think? |

Hey mate.
I don't personally use one and I never have used one on any of my phones. I have never had a bad scratch on a phone screen either. But I am very very careful with all my phones. My C902's screen is still as it was when it was new.
I would recommend getting one if you have found your screens on other phones got scratched easily. If you are careful and your phones don't normally get scratched, then I wouldn't bother!

@Muhammad-Oli:
Thanks for the reply. I also haven’t used one before to any of my phones except P990i and W950i. I’m always careful to my mobile. I asked because, my N82 gets scratch easily even with a feather touch. I’m totally fed up with that so already starting to think selling the 2nd one also (got twice). Using a screen protector on non-touch screen phone looks to me weird.
Hope C902 won’t get one easily. |

C902 should be more resistant on scratches than nokia phones... It has screen glass from the housing while at nokia phones you have the display in direct touch with all garbage from the surface around...

Hi all, I am considering getting a C902, but as asked previously will the MXE-60 fit and work on a C902, might improve the picture quality.

May be it work but not function properly IMO because the connector port is now different side on C902, so it doesn’t get the flash on horizontal line from lens. It’s better to try it on store before purchased and make find out what is the result or try with Google. |

Found a layout_main.xml file which is supposed to be for the C902 to remove the operator logo but is there anyway for me up load this to the phone (safely & easily) as I understand xs++ doesn’t work
cheers

I just got this phone yesterday and I'm so amazed by the build quality. Definitely glad I skipped K850 and got this instead!!!
Does anybody know if there's a DIY guide on how to change the casing? I'm planning to order the replacement casing from cnn.cn. Thanks guys.
EDIT: n/m found it.

Ok probably should of mentioned when I posted last but I've just got my red C902.
Have to say I'm not sure if I like it, don't get me wrong it looks good and is well made but I find it a little fiddly and is it me or does the screen have a slight yellow tint to it, as the whites don't seem as bright as they were on my K750i.
I'm probably just being picky and I guess I will get used to it.

Yeah display is little bit dull like Nokia N82 and white color is not looks perfectly (little bit yellow) and also some other color. Some of others here also get this after firmware update so I think its reason for the latest update (mine come with the latest firmware). Hope they fixed on next firmware. |
