@SIGHUP
The standby thingy is no biggie i think.
How often have i accidently pushed the touch buttons during a call? Never.
The smudge issue- Well live with it or get yourself a krusell classic case. I'm waiting for it to come to stores and for now i wipe the lens cover-glass with a micro cloth (and sometimes the whole phone)
@ashyak36
Try a better pair of earplugs or/and run your music through att better ripping program and/or run your mp3:s through a normalizer software or a mixer program and pump up the volume there.

@SIGHUP
The standby clock I heard has been put back in with new firmware that's been distributed to service centres. I remember reading it but it could be false info as I've not got the firmware so can't confirm it.
I've also never done anything bad with my face (not how that was supposed to sound) whilst in a phone call. I love my K850 after initially being slightly disappointed. Most issues are with te firmware nad will be fixed in time.
@ashyak36
Your phone may have fallen foul to a firmware issue where the volume buttons seem to stop working. try restaring your phone, and trying again. set the volume before you plug in the headphones. It could be the firmware clashing with the headphones.
Again, these problems should be fixed in time with firmware updates.

there's a little something that irks me. does ur progress menu bar look as tho' it's distorted? i see it when i delete an sms...and the pop-up menu says "deleting message" and there's a status bar below. for some strange reason, it looks jagged and the colours look as tho' they are wrong...pretty much like there's a digital artifect in it.
do u guys have it too? and if u do, does it irk u as much?

I noticed this too, to begin with i thought it was a new design feature of the new platform, but i think you're right, a bit of a bug, and it gets a bit annoying now. Oh well, all will be right with the world soon,

What's with the Stand-by clock issue?
My phone is in Stand-by and I press the volume button and I do see the clock there. no problem after that.

The problem some people have is that you can't set the standby clock to be on all the time so to save pressing any buttons to see the time and, what some people view more importantly, whether or they have a text/missed call.

Hi, im quite happy with my 850i, no problems as such but.....
when shooting a video, the max seems to be 25seconds, how do i increase this?, i have a 1G memory card.
Also during a call, is there a way to switch to speakerphone quickly, now i have to press right softkey, scroll down to speaker and select, when before on my 800i all you had to do was press left softkey.
I know you can select speaker easily before answering the call by pressing the right softkey but its annoying i cant do this as fast during a call.
thanx

When in the camera, press the 3 key, and it should change to high quality video mode, allowing you to shoot video till the card is full. Press it again to switch back to MMS video mode.

Does anyone know of a way to stop the radio frequencies updating when they have a poor signal?
I don't mind doing it once but it should give me the option to stop this cycle of trying to update when the signal is weak.
