Actually you're half right.
Original acoustics doesn't swap channel...but the HPM70 with swapped audio are original
And probably most of hpms are swapped...
I have noticed that there are some HPM70 that are not recognized as HPM70, and they are original too.
Dunno why, maybe the OEM ones are like this, and the ones that comes with the phones are good.
Can you listen to this mp3 and tell me if its swapped or not?
Virtualbarbershop.mp3
go to play time: 1:05 and listen
=]

Oops. Sorry, I've tried fake HPM-70 once and it swapped my channels, so I guess it's due to non-original HPM-70.

In fact I'm not using HPM-70.
The one I'm using is iTouch SRC100 that came with W800i in Hong Kong.

I'm using original acoustics.

Yes, I heard the sound at my right hand side .

Hi Pedrops, i'm using Phillips headphones and original w810 port to connect them to phone. and yes, the channels of your acoustics are positioned wrong because ive downloaded that mp3 and listened to it on the computer - the sound was to the right when he said "moving over to your right hand side". but with your acoustics its the other way round.
Maybe it's to do with HPM-70 headphones? Iv' lost mine so i cant test the sound on them, but if you can, can you please do something? thanks

Hi all!
Sorry taking so long!

Links are fixed now!

About the HPM70 and swapped channels
please read this post at Se-nse: Page 14 / Post 266
Bugs on original HPM70

I don't have much time now, but tonight I'll answer everything with time ok?

Oh, about DRC on and off
I prefer DRC off, its more clear sound!
But DRC on will limit maximum power output and will NEVER crack!

you can read something about it here: Page 12 / Post number 226
Discussion about DRC on or off

The link were removed there, but the final packs are on page 1 of this thread

i see... so the difference is on the max sound volume...

i prefer DRC ON, coz the bass digs the inside of your ears without hurting...

DRC OFF, is also good but the way i hear it... it kinda stings in my ear for the high tones... and the bass really digs deep that adds the sting...

but overall... their good... and they give this pleasure of listening to music.

well done Peter!

Peter i have tried it and its great but can you please do something to reduce the hissing noise. Also in full volume (using handsfree), its a complete disaster.(any solution for this).I actually want louder voice but sound should not break.

Not only on max.. but you can see the big diff on max.. on lower volumes I prefer DRC off. Some people say it depends on the music too!

Cheers bro! Ciao!

Hissing where? Earphones? Backspeaker? Handsfree?
What kind of Handsfree do you use?
I'm asking this cause there are a lot of acoustic files, and I have to know wich one to mod for you!
