what gets me with apple is why do they charge us so much more in the uk? in the us this mouse works out as £37.27 yet here it is £49?!? Thats more than 30% more. It is the same with the macbooks - we get taken for a ride here in the uk  |

I know yeah i have noticed that it is madness like the ipod leather cases are $99 which is around £50 i think and over here i think they are £70 just not fair really.

simple answer, its the same as why "gas" is cheap in the USA - Government tax and VAT

govenment tax on fule is allot more then 30% lol but on apple products its only vat I believe. I think its more of the case in differnt places can charge more, its possible that because the uk is in the eu it has to compensate for shipping charges into fortress europe (econmonics)

I got my 25 spindle of apple dvd-r today and they are the best thing ever no problems whatsoever wooooohooooo they were worth every penny!

Right, im posting a warning message for all mac users.
DO NOT RENAME YOUR HOME FOLDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did this last night thinking I was clever, in the end I was up fixing for 4 hours (till about 5am), basically it means you lose all your stuff untill you fix it. In the end blessed apple helped me (to late to contact jools lol), you have to sign is a the root user etc and its very very hard and annoying to do all this stuff. I also lost access to numerous files and then had to change all the permissions for them, then find the safari bookmarks and widgets on my back up drive and put them back onto my mac (it deleteted these to)

also just found out I lost allot of emails, allot of very important ones because they were all stored on my mac!!! bugger

nah its too late for that ive already paid for half of it
i dont mind at the moment, its my first mac and i dont need anything fancy.
eventually i would like to get a macbook/ pro.
yeah im in, prepare to be burninated (musically that is )
