I think the only new clock widget is one called Analogue clock (actually 2 are listed with the same name) but the lower one which also shows if it light or dark

You need to switch it on here:
Settings/Language & Keyboard Settings/International Keyboard/Text Input Settings

Few thoughts on 2.3.4, best feature definitely has to be the keyboard and mouse input which doesn't require the livedock to work, but just a OTG USB-Micro USB adaptor.

The new panorama feature is, interesting. Good when it works, but is the most frustrating thing to get right, especially when it tells you to pan more slowly, or processes the image before finishing thus leaving a large grey area. Tried using a tripod and even that is hard, with the slightest jerk it doesn't like it. My phone has also REBOOTED 3 times so far since using the application, anyone else experiencing this? I've never previously has any reboot issues, maybe the occasional one but not bad in the 7 something months I've had the arc. A joke!

3D pano feature is a complete gimmick though, can't even view it on your phone, only when plugged into a 3D TV. Which I know was made clear, but still would be nice to have the option to review it after you have taken it.

Shame about the screen off annotation too, but other then that quite a cool update

Why on earth getbeid of the lock screen animation?? Daft I never understand SE logic sometimes. They recently introduced that lock screen everyone loved it and they get rid of it. The Panorama feature is hit and miss in Sony cameras too.
Phone?? What phone??

Anyone liking the swipe feature? I am getting use to it already and have only started using it since yesterday. Also what do you guys make of the slight change to the keyboard, with the letters on the keyboard having been made bold instead

Its great specially on xray the swype keyboard I mean the letter on the actual keyboard getting bold isn't an issue everything on the update had been awesome good job

Battery life has significantly improved on the 2.3.4 update, as well as 3G and HSPDA issues seem to have been resolved (previously the connection kept dropping).

Not really noticing any speed improvements.

Real shame some of the widgets in the previous firmware (2.3.4 .28) have not been included (on the Generic UK anyway), i.e. World Clock widget, timer widget, calendar widget and new analog clock widget. Don't know why these were dropped unless they had bugs in the them.

I am experiencing a slight problem since the update, and that is I use Handcent and once I have read a message and I need to unlock my phone at some point on the display it is telling me "1 message unread." I have to go into the stock message app and then exit out of it for this not to happen, until I receive another text? Anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah it's great, but I've using the original Swype and it's really good to use, I had a quite go to SE's version which is pretty much the same but I prefer swype because the keyboard looks nicer imo. You could also have a look at videos to see how to get the most out of it (like when spelling a word with 2 of the same letters you do a loop over the letter, like 'look' and to make a letter a capital you swipe above the keyboard) I don't know if its the same for SE's one though

That's odd because Im also on UK generic and got the new widgets, you can downloading them from here anyway (credit to Xperiablog for uploading them)

Thanks for that, I've downloaded the widgets and installed them.

Did you get the world clock widget and the calendar one?
