I will believe it when I see it. There are rumors every year and by the time the phones hit the market only like 25% of the rumored specs and feature appear on the final product. |

I look forward to the new RS. From what I have seen from some recent new Sony phones the cameras have finally improved since Ericsson days. Even the 5 meg cameras on the Go & the U are very good. Looking forward to the 13 megs

Newly developed Pixel Eyes™ "in-cell touch panel" technology
■ 30 to 50% slimmer than previous modules
■ Bright image quality and high transmittance
■ Sony's unique touch drive system ensures a high S/N ratio
■ Compatibility with the Vistarich™ wide viewing angle LCD mode

After reading all the details on Pixel Eyes and on in cell touch panel I do not believe that any of the 2012 Xperia phones use in cell touch panels.

Absoultely. There was only one device with qHD, and it was using whitemagic.

In cell touch panel is already available on existing Xperia models. Nothing new. Xperia S also has it.

Not possible at all. Sony started to produce the in cell-touch panels
in April and the Xperia S came to market in March. Other manufacturers to follow later.
If other rumors are true the displays Sony produced are for the next iPhone and not for Sony or phones.

Sharp is making the Iphone display not Sony.
And also if we go by that logic, even the LT25i doesn't have In cell touch display as that display is a 4 inch qHD one, and LT25i has 4.3 inch 1280x720. |

So is the LT25 supposed to be a 2013 device? Or a very late 2012 phone? |

@dacha or anyone else who think Xperia S does not have in cell touch display, Google search toshiba LTPS In cell touch.

Hey Random, I was wondering if you had any info on whether any upcoming Sony mobile devices (phones, tablets or whatever) would also be including a pico projector, kinda like what we see on certain handycams.
I know Samsung has the Beam with a tiny projector and considering Sony already has this sort of tech in the handycams, I've always wondered if they'll port it over to their other mobile devices. |
