The one I unboxed was the Nordic version that seems to get the best goodies (16GB card and MW600). The UK version only comes with an 8GB card and no MW600 unfortunately.
I gues SE should point this out

There is a novel facebook simulation on the se site here.
It connects to your facebook and loads up your contacts and shows how the X10 interacts with FB.

Whoa! very cool!
We've all seen timescape videos before, but it just looks irresistible when it's your own data in it. |

Yeah, it makes it seem a whole lot more relevant when you see your own contacts up there. It looks amazing and I cant wait to try it out on the phone itself. You can even scroll up and down the tiles.

I wouldn't worry about how many colours the screen has, all i know is my X10 screen looks fantastic.
If the phone does not get an upgrade Its still a great phone. but fingers crossed SE will make it better.
My only problem with the phone is the keyboard, I keep hitting the wrong keys. I must have fat thumbs.
Which keyboard are people using the standard or android one?

Well i've had the X10 since friday & have been loving every minute so far , the phone is pretty rapid in the menus & i've had no issues with any other part of the phone since having it.
I say well done Sony Ericsson on a job well done , it seems to be selling well too as every shop i've been in to say they have no or very little stock left.
It's just a shame I'm gonna have to sell my X10 on ASAP as I have a rather large unexpected bill arriving in next few days & that takes priority over the phone so may put it up for sale on the forum. |

Couldn't personally care less for the feature, but here's one more layer to the mystery:

Timescape is awesome! I really love it! I have over 900 contacts on fb and it runs soooo smooth!
Txting gets used to after using the X1 qwerty for over a year and a half, but I'm getting used to it now! Build quality is amazing aswell!
Sound quality is good, not amazing but it's so much better than the iPhone |

Back in November, I posted that X10 will not support multi touch functionality at launch, but will be considered for the future. I can appreciate that even though there wasn´t a commitment, such wording both creates expectations (small or big) on future support and implies restrictions on software side.
That is the information I had in hand at that point of time. I am well aware that you rate multi touch functionality very high and therefore I regret to inform you that X10 screen hardware does not register simultaneous entries. Meaning even though we will upgrade the underlying operating system in relation to upgrading our user experience layer, X10 will not support multi touch functionality. We believe that it is important for you who follow this blog to be clear on that, which is the reason why I want to confirm Rikard’s comment.
We are working on alternative solutions for certain use cases, like zooming. I will share more details about that initiative once confirmed.
Due to vendor understanding and agreements, we don´t discuss in detail regarding hardware specifications. Having said that, X10 is upgradable and as earlier described there will be significant value offered through upgrades. X10 is about to reach stores and early consumer feedback is very positive, also highlighting room for improvement which we will share in due time.
Regards,
Sumit
