@LA
I got both the S700 and Samsung D500 and they are both as good as each other. Both have Led type flash/light. S700 has MS Duo support (up to 128Mb), I think its 4x zoom. The D500 has exactly the same features except for the MS Duo support but you get nearly 80 or 90 odd Mb of memory and its a lot smaller than the S700. The internal speaker on the D500 is also a lot better than the S700's (even better when the external speaker is attached).
Marks out of 10
S700 8 (due to its size)
D500 7.5 (smaller, but loses points on no expandable memory)
Don't know about the Nokia one you mentioned as I tend to stay clear of Nokia these days (have done so for over 3 years now )

@kerry
Carphone Warehouse' Dec catalogue shows the K700 @ £229.99 for handset only or free on upgrade on O2
Siemens S65 on O2 200 tarrif is free, handset only is £249.99 and upgrades from free as well.
The Siemens M65 also looks a decent phone with a handset only price of £179.99 and O2 upgrade again from free.
Suppose it depends on what tarrif your on though. I'm on O2 50 as I dont make a lot of calls lately (which is one of the lower end tarrifs) and got my Samsung D500 for £149.99 on O2 upgrade so the K700i should be a lot less than that.
