Just got notification for update now on SEPC for my XPERIA Arc.

I have 4.0.A.2.368, it said that it would update to 4.0.2.A.0.42, it's downloading the update as I'm writing, will play a bit with it and post! Finally, been waiting for that for almost a month, since I knew 2.3.4 is available!

anyone know if this supports HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100 or is it only HSDPA 900/2100?

Would be great if 1900 was supported...

so, anyone??

GSMArena say:

HSDPA 900 / 2100 - LT15i
HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 / 800 - LT15a

Below is what my service menu tells me. (LT15i)

figured that may be the case

i want to pick up the arc s, and im moving to canada for a yr or 2. would have been good if had left 1900 support on the 'i' version since the hardware supports it!

i understand the lt18a supports this, but its not out yet! And in prague i can pick up the arc s for 280gbp (after the VAT refund of course)

LT15i hardware supports 1900??

Why would they leave it out if it did?

I wonder if a FW (possibly kernel) switch will fix that up.

Either way, I'm leaving Arc S as it's not much over my Arc. I will probably buy whatever they have lined up for early next year though, providing it's dual-core and is sexy as sin.

I have a German version bought from Netonnet. I didn't know it when I bought it and now they have written on the website that it will not be possible to upgrade it to 2.3.4. I will return the phone and cancle the buy since they didn't tell me the conditions.

Just use Wotan Server (now free) or flash tool and update your devices.

I have run LT15a, LT15i and SO-01C firmwares on my phone in the US and everything works perfectly.

Waiting for SE to roll out an update is exasperating.
