Hi guys,

Just wanna share some experience bluejacking few chokia phones at mid valley roadshow!

This was my first time getting a chance to bluejack some dum chokia phones.

Tried few times right near the roadshow and discovered about 10 chokia's, named Daredevil, powerpuffgirl, 911, vj_Avaxx, some named phone only! But no 1 excepted my b-card(Get A SonyEricsson)
By the way my t68i is named NOKIA ENEMY:x

Not successfull so Really dissapointed, then when to StarBUcks wif my friends to get drink and tried discovering again.
Found 1 chokia(VJ_AVAXX)and a P800(P800)

Sent a b-card to VJ_AVAXX which was sitting right beside me wearing a NOKia roadshow t-shirt holding a 3650 and another chokia. He was there 4 break from the roadshow. He got shocked like he's mama died when he saw my phone name NOKIA ENEMY:x ON HIS 3650 and he even accepted my b-card (Get A SonyEricsson).

U guys should seen he's face!! He's was looking at everyone and got up from his chair like he saw a ghost. I think that roadshow guy also doesn't know about bluejacking???

Well that was fun!! and another P800, I just sent "NICE P800"
this person I could not see myself.

Anyway this bluejacking stuff , I learned from u guys in this forum. Thanx 4 the supa-dupa info on this!!

Ciau:-)

Hi....just a quickie....
I'm about to change my phone and am thinking of getting a T68i. However, have read quite a number of posts and reviews complaining of weak reception for the T68i.

Just wondering if any of you experience this (using Maxis) and is it really a significant problem?

Thanks.

@ sibea,
As far as I know, in terms of reception receiving, T68i is quite stable (especially with the latest firmware update). This reception thingy very much depends on the the telco too but if you are using Maxis, it shouldn't have any problem at all.

@sibea: i'm using the t68i with maxis...no problems watsoever with reception and gprs mate....mms works like a charm too......only reception problems faced so far lies with the ability of the service provider (Maxis) during festive occasion so go on ahead and get the t68i or better yet wait for the t610 if u r not in a hurry

@sthon: most of us here at esato are using mms from nowmms.....it works great with digi, celcom and maxis....dunno bout the rest...check it out at www.nowmms.com.....u'll hafta sign in as new user......key in your phone number with +6012xxxxxxx and a confirmation/authorisation code will be sent via sms......the page then leads u to input your required email and password...this is important as u'll need both the nowmms email add and password to configure the settings on your t68i.

I'm assuming gprs is working fine on your phone....once this is done, u'll hafta access Messages>MMS>Options>Message server option in the phone....proceed to key in address as:

http://mms.now.co.uk/username=password

that shud do the trick...then from nowmms, click on send test mms....and see if u can download from the phone.......u shud if all the above's done correctly....bon apetit mate......cheers!!!

@sthon: is your gprs still workin??? can we assume that only the mms settings are faulty....if that's the case, u need to check the following:

access Messages>MMS>Options>Message server option in the phone....proceed to key in address as:

http://mms.now.co.uk/username=password

username = name selected when used to sign in at nowmms.com
password = password selected

once that's done, all shud be well......lemme check!!!

@alex/fulat: did i miss anything here guys......
