| apologise if somehow you can detect hissing with hpm-70 plugged in and starting media player. i just cant

I think the hissing is a "bug" in the hpm-70 earpices, because when I switched to the headphones from my regular stereo, the hissing was gone.. |

The hissing is there regardless if you connect external earpieces or just use the built in speaker on the back.
Try by starting the media player, but don't play anything. Listen...
If you press play, you'll notice it's still there.
But of course, play loud enough and it will drown in the music.
I often listen to some music in bed on very low level, before i sleep in, and then the hissing is too loud. |

I can hear the hissing very clearly using the external speaker, but not untill youve started a song, pause it and the hissing is still there very clearly.
But If I attach the standard headset that came with my K750 all hissing is totaly gone. Seriously. No matter at what sound level. And no matter if I pause or play. Nothing. Nada. Quiet as deep space.
Which is why I could never understand what those complaining about hissing was on about, cause I only listen to music using the standard headset of the K750, never the external speaker, and never the HPM-70 which obviously is somehow also affected by this.
If you got a friend with a k750, try his headset instead, and youl see (or rather hear - nothing)

I updated my HK version of the phone this morning to the new firmware.
Had to restrart the standalone updater once and reboot the machine when it hung the first time I tried it, but other than that, no problem. |

i must be missing something in my K750i (R1N035)- the hissing
i just tried the recommendation (play/pause/full volume) and i can't hear any hissing sound from the speakers here in the office (office noise very low as it is too early, maybe try it in bed).
using the supplied headset which i modified, i can't hear any hiss still.
might update to R1AA008 in a while... |

I'm just updated mi W800 from R1NA005 to R1AA008 with the new SEUS client. My phone is america_2 region (I'm from venezuela) but at the last green bar in the seus client it shows the god damn message "error while executing script" and the phone isn't completly updated (good work SE f****ng things up again) and I only have english language (at least I can understand english and it doesn't bother me SOOOOO much) the T9 is complete with spanish, portuguese and spanish.
The volume of MP3 with the headphones is grater than before but with the phone's speaker I feel the same, no increase.
The hissing is almost gone. I can barely hear it with the headphones.
The camera at least with the photos I've taken, the quality is the same (not so good and the camera stills to sensitive to my hand's movement and the photos gets blurry, in R1L0002 the quality was a LOT better)
The MS DUO problem appears to be fixed but the transfer speed is very S L O W
@DEUXANI: how could you fix your problem with the languages?
Motorola microtac -> Nokia 6120 -> Ericsson T10s -> Siemens C35i ->  Z200 -> Motorola V300 ->  W800i R1BC002 ->  W810i R4CE012 W810 power!!!  |

Copy mp3 files from pc to my K750i using usb cable now works fine!
But, when I copy mp3 files from my phone back to the pc a get communication error after 5-6 files. With R1L002 I dont had this problem.
