Can't complain, its not too bad, but still not the best im expecting.lI just hope, this is nof what I have been waiting for.

Basically, what they're saying is that, assuming these are impressions of The Real Thing, the screen is both smaller and of a different resolution than the P910.
But I don't want my Pee to be smaller, it's already borderline to use as a PDA AFAIAC. I want it to be the same size, but better. |

The Treo 650 is good, but I suggest you wait for the Treo 670 which hopefully will address BT issues that people like SE sorted ages ago. Having owned both the P910 and Treo 650 I would say the P910 is better phone and the Treo is a better PDA.

I don't want a Treo 650. I've had a Treo 270 (which I gave away after buying my P910) and I've played extensively with a Treo 600. I guess I just don't like thumbboards.
Which is funny, because I bought a Psion 5MX, mainly for its keyboard (but on that one I could touch-type). |

I wouldn't mind a slightly smaller screen as long as the actual dpi is more which would give a lot better clarity. Also if anybody knows "what was the type of lense in the Sharp GX20", my brothet had one a long time ago, and I am yet (even with all the MP cams about) to have seen a better quality image from a camera phone. It even did beter images that my S700 as we both took photos when we were in london and compared them.
The new P series should gget quality like this.
The other thing I dont understand is that Sony make credit card sized Cybershots with 5MP... wtf cant they fit this into there phones?.
Oh my god! a wooden goat!. |

Here's an impression how the P950 could look like without flip.
I used the Qtek 9090 keyboard with some size modifications.
I'm not sure I like it ... :-

The new images of this phone are quite odd, because a few of them show a flip, but the in flip removed mode it reveals more buttons. Does this not defeat the object of having a flip?.
I think a redesign of the nokias 90 series phones would be the nuts, if it was the same thickness as the RAZR it would be a mental phone.

@Mad_Bob
You are missing the point:
SE P phones are good in the possibility to work as a phone as well as a PDA, without compromising any of them.
You will notice that the flip closed mode works just like a phone, where you can do everything with a single hand, but if you need a full PDA, just open the flip and use the stylus. |

_LAU_, that concept sucks crap.
either, the screen is just like on the px00, meaning the phone gets larger by about a third, or the screen is reduced, which means it's all even more squished.
the flip-concept is unique, and i desperately hope SE will keep it for hermione.

You oppinion, of course.
I love the concept!
Have you ever seen a Windows Mobile user on the move with one hand trying to make a phone call? LOL
About the screen sizes, these are the *non official* sizes:
Hermione screen:
60 mm long
45 mm wide
P910 screen:
64 mm long
42 mm wide

OK, I guess it depends on the device, not exactly on Windows Mobile.
The advantage of the P fil flosed if the large numeric keypad and the jogwheel. It also has a simplified interface where the touch screen is disabled (no accidental clicks).
It's not perfect, but the concept works very well.

well if it's one with a huge VGA screen like the orange SPV M5000 or similar with dimensions like 81mm x 128mm and weighing 285g then as i said before you look like a complete tw*t and you actually need two hands to hold it |
