Jamaat-I-Islami says Telenor’s Role Exemplary in Society

Senior Minister & Finance Minister NWFP and the Head of Jamaat-i- Islami in NWFP, Siraj Ul Haq, has said that Telenor's role in society has been exemplary.
Siraj Ul Haq received Tore Johnsen, CEO Telenor Pakistan yesterday at Frontier house, Islamabad, for a meeting in order to express solidarity with the behavior of the company during the recent protests against blasphemous caricatures. Siraj expressed his grief over the victimization of Telenor by some quarters and said that those business elements that were trying to take benefit of the situation to hurt Telenor's investments in Pakistan should be condemned. Telenor is not involved in the incident in any way and has been exemplary in its behavior, he said categorically. Siraj also praised Telenor for its donation of 6.5 crore rupees during the recent earthquake tragedy. Siraj praised Norway for its quick response to the act and said that Norway was the only country that came forth with an apology from the editor of the magazine and the government.
Siraj expressed his condemnation of the publication and said that the magazine that have printed the caricatures have deeply hurt the feeling of the whole Muslim Ummah. He said that religious parties came to the front to spearhead peaceful protests against the incident. He denied the involvement of any religious party in the violence that had erupted in a few cities.
Tore thanked the Minister for his support and said that for Telenor Pakistan as a company, the core principle was to be respectful and that is how the company, comprising 99% Pakistani employees, has always behaved. Tore said that Telenor was trying in earnest to build and attract investments to Pakistan. Telenor brought the single largest FDI (about 18 billion rupees) in 2005 and was planning to invest approx 60 billion rupees over the next 5 years.

I told that new to you that the representatives too dont know .I told you that thing that is thought between senior officers.I was saying Ufone screen balance facility for past 4 months.now you can check by dialaing *124#.Warid will also low down GPRS rates. Telenor have experience but have same network technologies to Ufone.Warid have good fast network tech provided by Ericsson.You should also know that sonyericsson sets are special for young generation having many games,videos features.Telenor and Ufone=Nokia Warid=Ericsson .Check Nokia handsets and Sonyericsson and check difference so there is same difference in these networks.In Malaysia telenor is working as DiGi cell check their site.

Anyone has how many cities other GSM cellular companies cover in Pakistan?
And what are your views on the peace with which Telenor is moving forward? Any comparison with Waridtel?

Telenor is like Ufone but with easyload and experience.Warid is with fast but expensive network.Telenor will go farward fastly and know the customers thinks by experience in more than 17 countries.

Telenor DJUICE package is the Fazool tareen package I have ever seen . I don't know whats the thinking of telenor about Pakistani awam. Because the only thing they are giving wide coverage in this package is discount at various places and there are such places in the list where no one dares to go because they are too much expensive so, whats the use of discount upon thier total bill. Buying the same things from other places by original prices are much less than the discount at the places where Telenor is offering. Forexample an item from that place is 100 rs so, u will get it for 90 rs.But the same thing from any other normal place will be from 35 to 40 rs. And thats all about it. I think jazz octane is better than this. This package is introduced in competence with Jazz octance.
Overall thats the fazool tareen package and telenor should offer something new and useful for the middle standard Pakistanis. This pakage is not for middle standard. |
