@nessaizfit

I think you can get it to work on nokia 7600 because I have one myself and have seen that you can edit the port number so it should work fine, although I havent tried it myself. let us know if it works when you get round to trying it. thanks [addsig]

Check

http://www.e-messenger.net/

for msn, yahoo icq IM (see mobile version)

The proxy blocks cookies.

I got around it with a ssh tunnel and `connect`:
http://www.taiyo.co.jp/~gotoh/ssh/connect.html

using `ssh -C -D8081 myshell.com`
and `socks 127.0.0.1:8081`

and with it managed to get to hotmail and gmail.

Big shame most programs don't have support for proxies, and few phones can run ssh or putty.

How often do you use the gprs tho? Could it be for people who are using it loads that get caught?

Mine's still working fine. If you overuse it, they block your SIM card from the whole network, and you have to get another one. If you call them about why it's blocked, they cite "data protection". What a load of shit! I think I might just fiel a class action lawsuit on them next time they do it, because i'd probably win.

Also, its bad if they just block your sim coz if you use your fone all the time like i do then that shouldnt be allowed should it without a warning. Also, if they are going to block your sim for over usage, why dont they just block the whole free gprs lol

Thats a bit wierd because i used about 7MB in a day and its still free. but that was a little while back so they might have realised it.

Another thing I recently rang o2 and asked them for the GPRS settings for a nokia 6230 and they said I have to enter them manually and so they e-mailed me the settings. And they provided the port 8080, which is a bit wierd because if its charging then it should be port 9201 as we have experienced. Make you think whether we are really using a loop-hole since o2 themselves are giving the port 8080. what do you guys think? [addsig]
