@etaab
ur welcome..
hhmm yea i hv to agree with ya.. why take them away?? It is a new and frm wat i see a better phone... why take them away?? But frm my price research... 3G capabilities.. doesnt really hv an effect on phone prices.. maybe the higher resolution & FM will.. OR its all in the marketing strategies.. SE knows consumers wud want to buy the V800 with its current specs anyway, so why giv them a 100% while they are happy with 80%.. and make a 100% newer V800 with higher resolution and FM... u get wat im tryin to say.. |

i think it's too bad that they can't sell phones like the v800 in countries without vodafone. we miss some great things |

No worries man... heard of unbranded and import? hopefully they will release it as soon as they release it in vodacrap... but everybody's guess its goin to take 1-2 months.. for the unbranded to happen |

The V800 in Switzerland won't have any software branding at all.

Here are more V800 pics, (with the Z1010 too, but not the swiss version):

You mean hardware branding....... but the menu looks like this: which is a vodafone thing and not an menu. Suggests to me that they are software branded..... just like previous phones Swisscom released... i seem to remember Voda-branded Z600 in Switzerland last year as well.

Icons look better now compared to what we are used to see. |

It seems Vodafone must have started paying the graphic designers in their UI department! Previous efforts were shameful. My GX-10 wouldn't be half bad if it wasn't for the tasteless 3 color icons.

I dont think IMO that they're anywhere near as good as the unbranded SE icons however.

Here in Austria the Z1010 came without software- and hardware-branding. That's why I bought it. I guess the V800 will be without Vodafone hardware-branding here in Austria and in Switzerland, cause Vodafone only owns 49% of our local network A1.
