 | IP69 is for rugged devices, like those Ulefone, Caterpillar etc. 9 is high pressure water.
 Obviously fake.

Weibo post suggest sony might have gotten back priority over some sensor tech to be first to use like old days.

Event is always 3:30 am for NY, now midnight.

I hope my suggestions (page 1) have been considered, again. 😁

 | I doubt that Xperia will be prioritized by the Imaging division of Sony.
Apple is literally the apple of their eyes as of the moment with the new sensor for the Apple 15 pro.

 | 858 that is used by crap xiaomi phones? 🤮 They can fit 650 inside periscope, so why not 557? Or even 563.

I think it is about using zoom while switching between the 3, not zoom lens.

That's an old demo basically demonstrating that now with new gen soc it's possible to have all the cameras on at the same time but without any major hit on the battery. This will improve on heating issues if you have continious zoom turned on in Video Pro. This is one of the areas where Apple is miles ahead of Android, iPhone soc is super efficient and has been like that for a very long time. For years now iPhone had all three cameras turned on all the time when you are taking the picture or shooting a video.

 | Judging promo teaser, to me sounds like much more than 125mm. I am starting to believe it has long range like 70-200mm.
 Xperia revenue has shrinked 2,5%.

Sumahodigest brought back up the LG 4-9 times zoom again. Hope their zoom is good.

 | Breaking news:
Billboard ad in HK shows : Matte glass (White, black and green). Only white does not come with black power button. Zeiss T* above periscope. Also slogan " One for all lights". Weibo post suggests HK is where sales start, then Taiwan.

Looks like Xperia/Alpha to be used to showcase what sony semicon can create. Finally.
I just wish this xperia cam was also polar sense sensor also starvis. It would be so cool.

 | My guess: 50 mp 1.12 (1/1.4") + 50mp 0.7 (1.2.5") + 50mp 0.6 (1/2.9")
According to Cat Nya on weibo, with dual layer Sony Semi might hope this to challenge the combo 989 + 766 + 586. And if this tech is that good, with type 1.0 inside pro-i 2 there will be no rival for months until 989 gets replaced.

Big words for Xperia. Is Sony really finally going to give Xperia the full support it deserved.

Anyway, Hongkong and Taiwan are the last frontiers of Xperia. They should really prioritized those two areas.

I'm happy that I saw some people using Xperia when I last visited Taipei.

 | Taiwan is already #2 market for xperia.
If 1v/5v bring new tech just for 24mm instead of all (including selfie) it is gonna be failure. She also claims 1/1.3" + 1/1.7 + 1/2.6". At this point if imx557 and 563 are used again, sony will be losing huge opportunity to make good money.
