have you noticed guys if on r1ca037 you enter the main menu with a flash menu used
like light trace or compo and when in main menu you take the camera flip down and then flip the camera slide UP to close the camera app
the menu will look weird
same goes for the media and internet browser
enter those applications (both set to landscape) the exit to main menu
observe the issue
IMO stupid bug

Well there might some stupid bugs with that phone... But look at some other DB3150 phones which are full of bigger bugs.  That bug doesn't affect the most important phone's functionality nor chrashes some apps or the phone itself, so nothing to worry about... You'll have to live with it until the firmware update..

i wonder if c902 has the same issue
my other w890 doesn't has this issue, but then again it has another java platform version and a somewhat different "feature pack"
these kind of visual issues are irritating anyway
OH and TWO MINOR ISSUES
why no blue c702 avatar?...i have this color not the black one
and No c702 firmware overview thread?...that will be helpful

Well you can start such thread if you want, but you need detailed information about C702's firmwares. And about the blue C702 avatar, we should talk to the administrator for that . It would be nice for C702 users to have that on the forum. Btw that was the case with the long awaited red k750 avatar which we got too late.

i'd really like to start such topic but I'm afraid i don't have some privileged info's about the prerelease of a firmware, and some other stuff
plus the lack of time to manage this
anyway I've edited my previous post with an image of the issue

The black C702 is plain IMO and looks like just another usual phone on the market
it would look good in a green color like the T650i

I wish they would bring out an all silver version of this phone. That way the dust wont show up so much where the camera is pulled out. |

^^^Yeah, the C902 has it too. I don't see why it sucks. It really is nothing at all. It's still useable and as soon as you go out of it and come back, it's back to normal. I think its just kinda funny.

I've just discovered the Energy Black C702 even if it appeared already some time ago... So it's not a new thing but I have to say that I like it very much... It's not boring like the Speed Black but looks more serious than the Cool Cyan... |

hi guys i just got this phone and i have a few questions:
whats the firmware version? How can i know the number version?
Can i update my phone???
I am having my phone like for 5 days now, and it have fresses 2 times, when i was on the media listening and going to the next song, it goes very very slow at first then fresses and it goes to a black screen and nothing was working like it was off..
Then it start asking me the language mode, to set the time,,etc..its weird.
Sometimes is running slow, like i wasnt specting for this phone,,why is that, cn someone expian me about updates and about my problem issue?

oh i forgot: i thought this phone can run the instant messaging withouth internet saervice, is it true?? Cause my old samsung phone have the option to go to ICQ yahoo messenger and hotmail msn and i can conect withouth having internet, but they only change me by the texts..., with this phone i cant, should i have to configure sometin g r i need the intenert service? |

To chech your firmware version go to Menu > Settings > Update software > Check software version. The phone will connect to SE's database and search for any newer (official) updates. Careful if you've never flashed your phone before.
