Yep, this is the bug back from R5 firmware!!! Have the same! Strangely however, not everybody got that. So this is really strange this time! [addsig]

Anyone tried to get into the service menu since upgrading? Every time I try the phone does nothing

Mine is working fine.

Maybe you have a problem with the jog dial.
Try it with the d-pad:

> * << * < * [addsig]

It's true, sometimes when you want to access the service menu with FC, nothing happens. But it always works with FO, at least for me

Either it's a bug or SE updates the same fw for very minor issues?

Still no joy using D-pad, how do you access it in FO mode? I've never experienced this before I upgraded.

make sure you jog dial one notch only. i had the same problem before.

People we are talking about here and the p990i. Do we really expect a new firmware ever for the p990i? Get real. All I am looking forward to now is for them to come out with a new flip series phone that is better than the P1 including quad band.

With the virtual phone keypad in FO, just perform the normal method to access service menu by using the jogdial and tapping '#' on the TC
