I agree that 10Mb internal memory is measley, but just remembet you get a 1GB memory card bundled with the phone. Advantages, you don't lose all your information if something bad happens, plus you can back up you contacts to it!

Just as a matter of interest, who starts the firmware overview threads, cos I noticed there wasn't one for the W830/W850...

True, but I keep themes, games and ringtones saved on the phones memory and they use up quite a bit of memory. It'd be nice to have around 41mb of memory like I did on the K750. |

10mb!! Thats not so much!! What did you delete to get it up to 14mb? |

Cīmon.. only 10mb of internal memory?? How can u expect to keep apps, games, themes and also to play 3d games with such small memory??
 did not only downgrade the cam to īmake it more music orientedī but its almost killing the other possibilities of the phone (apps, games and etc) with such small internal memory.
Cīmon, if u want something just to play music go and get an ipod. Uīll get much more memory, faster and better software, faster data transfer and even games now!! (though they r not free on itunes)
Iīll repeat what iīve said before: why would anyone buy w850?????
If you are interested in looks there r better looking mobs out there, not to mention the ipod which looks much better!!! |

I think I deleted everything preinstalled on the phone except the two pics and the two ringtones that came with the phone. |

You can use all applications, games, themes, etc that is saved in the 1GB bundled memory stick. IPODs are hard drives. try jogging on a treadmill with it and see how long it would last. This is a phone here, comparing it to a music player is pointless. |

So you can save themes, games etc on the MS? Thats not a problem then since the phone can handle up to 4gb MS. |

I need some help with this cool phone...
i have transferd my music with DISC2PHONE, i know it's posible for W850i to show ALBUM COVER when it play's a track...
But what i i don't know is how to make it show ALBUM COVER i have tryed to transfer pictures of the album cover to the MAP where the mp3 files are placed... but i dosent work...

Spoke to a guy in the O2 store today. He said an oversight was that the sliding OPEN would accept a call, but CLOSING it didn't.
I didn't get a chance to delve into the handset settings though.
Got one arriving on Wednesday morning for my Mom, VF gave an early upgarde at month 9 (of an 18 month commitment) with the handset costing Ģ25. |

Maybe when you close the slider while in a call it then changes to speaker phone. Which is a good idea since with mobile phones when the other person hangs up the call is terminated anyway. Not like a house phone line. |

Weird, I thought I answered the 'open and close to answer' question. Probably got deleted.
But negative on the speakerphone idea as well. It just continues the call as normal when the phone is closed during a call. |
