I got a resposne from them today and they recommended downloading the thai.zip file that is available here : http://www.unlocking.co.uk/download/Thai.zip

I was given various methods of payment, but to be honest am a bit concerned that if I pay that I won't hear anything back from them.

The email that I recived came from this address : ericsony@unlocking.co.uk

@stuburgess
If you see "please insert correct sim" after flashing, it's just a small problem that i've said at the very beginning. it should also be included in the FAQ in page 6. Well, what you need to do is only read GDFS, not reset....if you reset while your count is not 0, there maybe some problems...But actually i'm not quite sure whether your unreadable code problem is caused by this....well, maybe some software problem..

Guys, I think you should really read enough before flashing. What i said reading, is not only to read the procedure of flashing, but also the safety precaution. You must understand that DIY flashing is not 100% safe, and you may experience some problem. For that case, don't panic, and find out the correct solution before TRYING OUT ANYTHING BY YOURSELF. This is a fatal action...

Onslo at least they give you a reply, I have yet to receive one after payment so I'd hold off on it myself.

waikincheng,
So in your opinion is it game over for my phone or can i re-flash it to bring it back?
Will it make a difference if i try to read the GDFS again once i have more logs?

I tried the reset gdfs button since thats what the instructions said to do for AT&T phones and since i flashed it with funks R5C001 flash file i figured thats what needed to be done.

Thanks again

Ok unlocKing finally responded and told me about their isp problems, no biggie, he said he will have my username/pw within the next hour. By then I'll be at work so I'll have to flash it tonight. One more thing, I got my T68i black faceplate in today hehe, looks pretty sweet. $6.50 off of ebay.

So has anyone heard ANYTHING on fixing our bluetooth for those that flashed? I'm surprised we haven't heard anything from the author of ericsclient.... I can live without being discoverable for now, but eventually would like a fix. I'll probably have a new phone by then, LOL!!!!!

Eric

PS I have a AT&T t68i with R6a HW. Originally had R3B and I flashed to R5C and lost bluetooth discoverability. Everything else including the battery life is fine.

Guys, here's the thing..

I've gotten some new reports that

AT&T T68i *R6A* works with the T68i R5D007 EU Firmware (bluetooth doesn't break).. (Reported by Matic).

Non AT&T branded T68i's R6A also works per SevenFire's post.

*HOWEVER*

AT&T T68i *R6B* hardware definitely ends up with broken bluetooth. Considering it's a new hardware revision, the bluetooth chipset might have changed.

Eric, try flashing your phone with T68i R5D007 EU and see if it restores BT functionality (long shot though because phones flashe down don't work anymore, maybe flashing up will work?)..

Man, this is perplexing..

There's a person on howardforum

Atkiceman

states he got two AT&T T68i R6B updated to R5D007 T68i EU and bluetooth still works..

I personally updated an AT&T T68i R6B -> R5D007 and killed bluetooth along with a couple of people here and howard..

Are there any of you that was successful in flashing an R6B T68i -> T68i R5D007 EU?

Funks, I flashed my t68 with R5D007 EU, everything seems to work great, the menu is a hell of alot faster. I've been missing out. I have no bluetooth devices to pair it with but I'd bet money it would work just fine. Still setting up my data accounts right now. Can't find instructions to set up CSD with t-mobile. Keep in mind I have a T68m with R4C hardware(as you know), and it had R2B013 firmware. Now I'm running R5D007 with no problems, no stand by problems, and as far as I know no bluetooth problems, I'll figure that one out in the future. I also notice that on that list of BT failures only 1 t68m had problems, so I'm thinking mine will work just fine, I'll try it when I can. And this black faceplate looks great on here hehe. T68i style faceplate at that. If you need to know anything for your research let me know.
