Does anyone know a confirmed release date?
I'm itching to get my hands on this, and my Dad is itching to get my K850i
I'd say that the release dates might differ between countries and parts of the world. For instace here in Swede releasedate is 23-24 oct for the black version.
I suggest you mail or call your local SE-support for an (accurate?) release date.

You're right. But it was pretty metaphorical nonetheless.

I mean I actually like its fat, bulky body, because it seems that no one agrees with me on that point |

K850 was designed by lund, most of people says C905 is design by SE japan. Like S700 and W900 |

This is true and according to my information, its the first of many Japanese engineered devices heading our way.

Won't all the design for non-Japanese models be done at Lund? Even if it's based on a model designed for Japan, it will be redesigned for 'us lot'. Now they've opened their new building (which I visited recently - and was proud to see my magazine as one of only a few mobile titles they use in the design studio - the other main one being Mobil), and another one is being built over the road, they will be doing a lot more there. The building is nicknamed 'The Aquarium' by the way, on account of much of the glass leaking.
The C905 seemed big when I first saw it, but with the soft plastic and good build quality, it doesn't feel big. If you've been happy with the N95, or the i8510, you'll have no problems with this.
Let's put it in context; it's not the smallest phone on the market but it's anything but big!
