Here's what zomgbbqftw had to say on NeoGAF
The front is scratch resistant, shatter proof mineral glass, no branding information. I guess Corning since they are better at creating larger glass substrates. Not sure about the back tbh.
I find the tablet to be quite uninspiring. The prototype was much more interesting, it had a kind of kickstand which I think would have been useful since Sony haven't made deals with case makers like they did for the phones and because it is shatter proof a cover would be pretty useless anyway. They removed it to make it thinner I believe but it would be a useful feature, I know I like the folding cover for iPad which acts as a stand, it would have been nice to have that feature built in.
Oh, btw, the camera sensor is actually the same one as in the Xperia P, Galaxy S3 and iPhone 4S/5, so it's not that bad. In fact I think it is a later spin so it may have better ISO performance. |

Doesn't seem to be an official release date yet, but Q2 has been rumoured. I imagine we will get more info at least for Japan this Tuesday at NTT Docomos event |

@ Felimenta
Most likely it will use APQ8064 same as Z and ZL.
Same CPU
2GB RAM as well!
Waterproof & Dust Proof. Hopefully Sony has not production issues like the previous tablet that was supposed to feature these.
Xperia Tablet Z ... you will be mine!
