BTW, do any of you have some info on O2 XPHONE II ? A friend wants to buy, and we are unable to find a good review that compares with other Smartphones, and Series 60 kinda phones.

Ommigosh !!! I just saw some of your profiles. Do you folks do Esato for a living ? Some of you gentlemen have 16 posts a day average !!!! I dont think I am going to try to beat that. In fact, I may not be able to post much after tonight ... in meetings rest of this week, and tied to the laptop (unable to access internet on the phone).
BTW, on that note ... what exactly is OrangeWorld ... is it just plain WAP, or some kind of limited GPRS ? How is it different from Orange Access (besides pricing) ?
I have OrangeWorld and roaming, but when I roam with my phone, it gives me a 'connection failed' when I try to access any site. Any advice ?

Shyam, thanks for the dope on the XDA handhelds. I was asking about the new XPHONE II. There are no good reviews on it yet - none that I could find, except these:
http://www.mobile88.com/mobil[....]sp?prodid=630&cat=27&path=40,6
http://www.infosyncworld.com/reviews/n/5755.html
http://www.mobile88.com/mobil[....]sp?prodid=630&cat=27&path=40,6
http://www.phoneyworld.com/handsets/specs.aspx?phone=o2_xphone_2
But none have any comparisons with other Smartphones.
I saw it last month and just fell in love with it. Its a real looker. Very slick. Amazingly compact. But I have concerns about the usability of the MS platform on a phone form factor - no stylus, small (relatively) screen etc. Looking specifically for some experiences on that.
I have to do this R&D by Tuesday, and buy it for the friend on Wed unless I come up against any major bad experiences.
