You shouldn't really think of Cybershot compact digital cameras
Mobile Bravia Engine on Xperia phones doesn't mean they offer the same Image Quality as a Bravia TV, and playstation certified doesn't necessarily mean PS3 level gaming experience.
I guess that's enough of a clue
So the "Xperia Cybershot" tech will filter through to 2013 Xperia phones as well.

Cybershot tech well regarding your clues I have these thoughts in my head:
2D/3D Sweep Panorama
HDR (already available on the LT29s and LT30s)
BestPic just like the old times? (Hopefully )
Multipoint AF? (that would be great if it does!)
AVCHD? (Yeah I'm dreaming!)

No AVCHD
But the cybershot tech isn't all that lame as you are expecting it to be
So wait till 29th |

No I don't mean it to be "lame" in fact those features I listed above were my ones I loved the most on a cybershot camera.
Are there any upcoming accessories in the pipeline besides the ones accompanying on the xperia tablet? (I know I'm asking too much )

All I want for Sony to do with the Xperia phones' cameras is to squish out the highest photographic quality possible from the Exmor R sensors and lens. I am not expecting Sony to literally incorporate Cybershot technologies into their smartphones and tablets. With regards to video recording, I just want the videos taken be saved in H.264 format or MPEG4(if has not been done yet) to ensure high quality encoding and the audio be recorded in stereo quality. I could not be more happier. Well if they could add some Plasma Flash(dual-led flash light), I would take it. |

@rss_ndrsn: the so called "plasma flash" is nothing more than a gimmick

LT25 has a 4.3 inch screen (but a higher quality panel than LT29i, LT30 as already known). The same screen type will be seen in 2013 H1 Xperia phones. |

AMOLED? The thing is, they usually give the phones, scores (LT26-LT28-LT29 and so on), so I'm guessing it will have a slightly bad camera , i want an 13mp in it! Then I will buy it |

Yeah 13MP even on mid-end phones that'll be awesome! just reduce the screen size and internal memory (the most expensive component anyway) I doubt the OLED screen though

Since the title itself is Sony Rumors portfolio, maybe I can bring the discussion about the also rumored A99 SLT

I didn't saw that thread you created until now
@RickyD: now you have one flaw on your thread's title please change it to Sony Mobile Rumor Portfolio 2012 before someone mistakes it for a Sony Appliance Rumor Portfolio
