MO is really rockin these days... I am getting 22-30KBps Download speed. I have tried DAP, IDM, Fl@shget and without doubts IDM is the fastest. DAP and Fl@shget struggles to reach 20KBps and above, but still good.
And one more thing torrents works like a charm with fl@shget. Now dl @ 15KBps+. |

HBird can be received in TamilNadu using a 16FT dsh. Infact, I have 2 friends from Chennai who are receiving it. But if you have 12FT fibre dsh, you can surely receive it. I don't have that kind of dsh. In Punjab & Kashmir, it can be received using 6FT dsh.

Freworld correctly points out that 90% of gtel customers just sms, make calls and make hello tune fuss. No GPRS, No EDGE nothing. And gtel is happy with that. I heard that gtel generates about 70 % of its operating profit from sms, hellotune and content downloads through Rs. 6 per minute calls and the like. He also correctly points out that "ANDHON MAIN KAANA RAJA" Airtel is so ... that it has not even started airtel live in this part of india (Srinagar). They cite petty reasons as lack of infrastructure and security. When gsnl has fullfledged GPRS from 2004 what the hell is wrong with gtel.

Assalam u Alaikum. It, now, is evident that the subjects of almost all posts in this thread are far deviating from the topic which this thread was meant to cater. (..i.e. fre G*RS...). People who come to this thread get nothing of what they are searching for. All contributors are requested to post here matters relating to fre G*RS only. Posts relating to that birdie etc. may please be posted in new or relevant threads. Please help all, to make Esato a place where you can easily find what you require. Let it not be that you are in G*RS thread and you find people talking of satellites (and birds!). We must all do our best to behave in a systematic and relevant way. Moderators; AlanDS, shivam, spartan, freworld, etc. Please note and ensure strict compliance. (If this thread is no longer relevant or is unable to attract new relevant posts, then it should no longer be active, it should be closed for new posts. Why misguide people to believing free G*RS, when u have nothing new to offer. To linger on a thread, just on the basis of 1 post which, as most people write is not working anymore, is, I think, not fair.). (.. HEY There..., don't take it to heart, I don't have a grudge against anybody. I am just pained to see posts deviating from the topic). Best of luck, and my salute to all those who work tirelessly to find loopholes in operator networks enabling fre G*RS for us !

good news desi-tek is back
now running on new dedicated server my friend provided the web space to me
on 1gbps port and its uptime is almost 99.9%
and server it self take back up of complete file twice a week
