I think we need to stop fooling ourselves about sony's excellent "services". Video unlimited is shit, music unlimited is even more shit (spotify hello). The Playstation suite is like 2years delayed and is probably gonna suck when its finally released. Just face it no one is using Sony services and no one ever has. Is anyone here at esato even using any of sony's services? Sony will probably rename them again soon. Sony make excellent hardware and it is there they should compete. Do you think anyone at all would choose xperia tablet over iPad or even tabs from like samsung or asus beacause of software? They will choose sony because it looks and feels great and has excellent hardware. Sony really needs to up their hardware game and they will have an excellent offering. If they continue like this they will go bankrupt
Now randomuser or that crazy Guy worf will probably go crazy over what I said but its the truth which you all know deep inside. We are all here at esato because we like Sony and Im so tired of seeing them making all these bad decisions. Really hope they turn around the company next year

Anyway, I don't answer you questions, because I clearly see you're fanboy and whatever I write, it'll always get rejected by you. Hence I don't spend time write the same thing over and over. I just write the reality the way I see it and don't care of others's opinions. In the previous posts I just wrote the reasons I'm so disappointed with Sony ( actually I liked SE, not Sony, I can't stand Sony, japanese are weird people, have you watched... never mind ) and I plan jumping to another much more reliable brand with brighter future. I have my own expectations, which SE used to fulfill in the past, but not anymore. They're changing ( in the wrong direction, if you ask me ) and their new vision doesn't correspond to my standards. At the same time other brands seem to get closer to what I want - a bit more "old SE" design, cute and glossy UI with gradients and transparency ( like the old UX, I don't like Sony's smokes and shadows in the new NXT UI ). Their old UI was colorful and bright, full of energy, while their new one is too dark, black, ghostly, scary, depressive... It doesn't fit my style. I'm not emo, I'm a cheerful person and I see the world one much brighter place. Black is not my color. The bright colors of the new Lumias are great for that matter. Have you asked yourself why does S3 not come in black? Or iOS' childish UI? Because it's made for the teens, who still see the sparkle, or even flame of life. It just says "Come and play with me". While Sony's UI is like a walk in the graveyard. Not to mention that minimalism in their current Xperias... Do you know why I hate Windows Phone? For exact the same reason I hate the new Xperias. I'm not retarded or mentally challenged and I can distinguish other shapes that squares. I want my old SE.

mediar, Cheers Bro!! I also don't like the new UI. SONY had always the beautist UI, but I must say they lost this position... But not only this, I can't see this fuc**in NXT-Bul**hit series anymore. So ugly... Big fail! We saw this year only one right phone, and this is the Xperia ION! But SONY fuc**ed itself with very bad strategy... Still not in market... You do realise SE designed everything up till now.... Sony hasn't actually done anything yet. It takes 18 months for a concept to reach production. So all these Xperia devices were designed mid-late 2010 or early 2011, those " wierd Japanese.people" have barely been involved, if they were involved, then they are the same people who brought you the 2010 and 2011 AND 2012 phones. There is no such thing as "old Sony Ericsson", they are the same designers from Lund. Only recently has the design team actually moved to Japan. Their designs won't ne seen till 2013 at the earliest
UI is subjective, but I like it, clean and sophisticated, much better that the rather cheap-looking Touchwiz.
Mediar, you don't have to like it, but your opinion isn't fact (as evidenced.by the relatively strong NXT sales) and its a bit annoying that you repeatedly come back here and derail the thread with your tiresome rants. If you're done with Sony then stop posting rants in threads related to their products. Go and enjoy HTC or Samsung poor whatever floats your boat. Sony don't exist to please just you, they must have their own ideas, visions and concepts they want to create. Don't like it, don't buy it, buy something else but please don't act like they owe you something. If in the future they make something you like, then enjoy it, if not life goes on |

Over on XDA qsp who leaked the original tablet photos mentioned either a cybershot lens or sensor would be on this tablet, he never did clarify. Do you have seperate info confirming if it's one or the other, or possibly both? |

How thick is that tablet anyway? since Tablet S is 20mm i suppose the Xperia Tablet S is around 14-16mm. with that size I think a 1/2.4" sensor would fit on the device, xenon flash too! (Satio is 13mm btw, but sadly Sony didn't bother about it) so there's alot of space for every circuitry and the battery is large enough for components like this to fit so its no brainer to think at such possibility.
EDIT: just found the dimensions of the Xperia tablet to be 11.85, so it might not fit a 1/2.4" sensor, we don't know though if it's got wide angle so the focal length would be shorter, which means the size won't be affected. but anyway so much for this silly speculation  it's as if Sony still makes 8mp cybershot camera sensors these days
