An Xperia Arc S would probably use the MSM8255T (overclocked version of the MSM8255 in the Xperia Arc)
There are Japanese Android phones that do this.
This is somewhat dissapointing however, I wonder when the announcement will be. |

if so above is true dont like the name
its samsungs 'thing' the -> S
id prefer we cool it the xperia arc II or arc X or arc + (like google plus )
Sounds more like HTC.
Wildfire --> Wildfire S
Desire --> Desire S
Incredible --> Incredible S
For Samsung, the "S" in "Galaxy S" denotes the model, hence there's a "Galaxy S II". |

NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW on the PM2300 information page it says :
"Halves the battery charging time: less than 3h for a 25Ah battery"

Don't mix things up... this is just a power hub, that sit's between the charger, battery and the phone/tablet it self so it can charge the battery, power the phone or directly power the phone while the battery is low ( and charging also )...
regular power hubs can handle 1.5A of current while most smart phone uses normally 1A +- 250mA on average... supporting higher amperage means faster charging and handling intense tasks while charging in the same time...
this power hub supports 3A of charging. so it's more powerful than regular power hubs
more powerful power hubs does not mean higher capacity batteries, you can even connect a 2800mAh third party batteries with the same chargers and power hubs, but it will take longer to charge the battery duo to it's higher capacity...
at first time when phones and early smart phones uses small capacity battries like 1000mA and lower, there was no need for higher power power hubs and no need for high current chargers, the 500mA that standard USB can provide is enough for 2 hours of full charge from absolutely empty battery, but now with smartphones get higher capacity like 1500-1800mAh and tablets get higher in the 2000-3000mAh regular 500mAh will need too much time, so they used higher power chargers ( 700~1000mAh ) and more powerful power hubs to make charging faster and take the same 2 hours...
but when going to tablets which uses batteries in higher capacities like 24-25 for most known tablets ( Transformer, iPad, Xoom ) battery charging take too much time even for 1A chargers and even 1.5A chargers, that's why iPad uses 2.1A for charging for example and still take 4 - 5 hours... ( using USB it will take 8 - 10 hours !! )... using higher power hubs means faster charging and if you have 25Ah battery like iPad it will take less than 3 hours to charge it using such a power hub and 3A charger
don't expect 2500 mAh batteries to be used in current phones, it's possible yes but current batteries technology can't squeeze such capacity in a small reasonable size... maybe after several years when new breakthrough technology advances and we will be able to find higher capacity in small size and low weight... Nanotechnology seems promising but it's not ready yet for mass production...
if you insists on 2500mAh you can find some third party 2800mAh even for Arc ( like Mugen power batteries ) but it will require replacing the back cover and increasing the thickness to much...

back2you: You are wrong. 25Ah are not 2.500mAh. 25Ah = 25.000mAh  |

25Ah = 2500mAh
correction : 2.5 Ah = 2500 mAh
so :

How do you guys know the next big thing will be Duo or even if there is a phone in development called Duo? SE might have decided not to use the name and although it's trademarked or whatever, they've decided they too far behind the curve to call their twin-cam, twin-core, twin-screen, hot-twins handset Duo.
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

At GSMArena they already having pics and unofficial specs of the SE Xperia Duo
http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_xperia_duo-4047.php
How close to the official specs do you think their info is?
Or did GSMArena get the romours from you guys?
So far I like: the Screen at 4.5" and the shape, I hate phones you can't feel whats up or down on, in the pocket for instance. The curved bottom and straight top solves that .
I think the Duo could fit well, as an half way house between a Slate/Pad and Smartphone. |

Yes, they did. And their photo is taken from this one - http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/4669/xperiaduooo88.jpg , posted by back2you, which, in our opinion, is faker than a three doller bill.

According to engadget.com, one 4G SE smartphone is headed to At&T in the US this 4th quarter. Could that be Xperia Duo?
