because tamil used to be spoken in kerala; then the brahmins north came down and spoke sanskrit, so malayalam is a mix of both.

yes the original language was tamil. In fact, the language spoken by brahmins especially iyers and iyengars in tamil nadu sounds a lot like malayalam.

Also, get this, it is easier for malayalees to understand tamil, but not so for the tamilians malayalam.

BTW, the tamil spoken in tamil nadu today is not the tamil that was spoken way back when.

Isnt malayalam mostly a dravdian language with influence of sanskrit rather than a mixture?

malayalam is in a group known as dravidian, the mother language being proto tamil. This group includes other southern languages like kannada and telugu.

I played Nfs mw for 3 days in my cousin's pc when i was in Ananthapuri i reached blacklist no.9 ...mw has better graphics and a far better story than ug2....also its huge thrills when police chase you...beware the rhinos...thats the best part.the garage ...and upgrade shops have been made simple...no roaming around searching for different upgrade shops. The cars are good too...from bmw,merc,porsche...

the only thing i had trouble was that the directional walls during race are shown in light yellow colour in mw compared to red colour in ug2...so u dont see the yellow colour from a distance and and often crach onto them.
