I know am really frustrated i am a gadget freak yet gadgets hate me. Going to refund it. So how is the Satio? Is it just me or are people taking really poor photos in the Satio photo thread? Or is the picture quality really that poor? I just noticed alot of terrible photos. So what's your overall impression?

I find the pic quality to be quite good matey. Both of my Satio's (black and red) are good. Not had a problem so far. Setting up took a while with not being used to S60 but didn't take long to learn it. Web browser is a bit laggy but everything else seems fine imo. No equalizer is a slight disappointment but nothing major. I have the Satio linked to the bluetooth stereo in my car and it plays/sounds fine.
Its really not as bad a phone as people make out. Same as the C905. Dispite a few small faults its actually a good phone to have. The C901 would have been a keeper also if it wasn't for a few small issues in the build quality (lens cover mech for example) and the poor camera focus.

and i agree that the build quality isnt that good - but i suppose maybe that's cheap materials for the price of it if you consider price of c902/3 when released compared to c901, i just don't like the battery cover as the plastic is really shiny like glossy and waterproof, so its slippy and can drop out hand easily - but i plan on getting a silicon case for it if i can find one but i haven't seen any ones so far...
i also don't really like keyboard as some keys are really responsive and bounce back when you click them whilst others feel very tough to press and others feels soft and numb.. but i think that's just my c901 as i remember you saying your keypad was one of the best.
i also don't like the light sensor - goes really bright then really dark, but that can be fixed through modding, then the last thing i don't like is internet connection which is very very slow and youtube is unbearable sometimes - but i blame O2 for that not the c901. I think i should do a review of it sometime with my experience of it.
I was surprised you went for the satio, i thought you would choose the iphone as you had loads of experience and said you got bored of the platform, but i guess the iphone 3GS camera isnt that great, better than original though.

I agree with most of what you said. I too am having problems with O2 lately. Completely lost the HS connection on my phones and the max i'm getting atm is Edge. Also finding internet keeps cutting out regularly on my A100,A200 platform, UIQ and my Satio with my O2 sim in.
I still say the C901 has a really good keypad as well. That was one of the things i liked about the phone.
I bought the Satio's outright matey. Still got my upgrade due next month and still deciding what to get or wait a while as i'm happy with the Satio. Gonna leave the Iphone unless this apparent 4g model is worth getting. Still thinking along the lines of the X10 or maybe try the Palm Pre.
Also thinking of importing a W508 to use as my gym phone instead of taking the Satio. They're at a good low price atm at 119.99 delivered.
Oh dont get a silicone case Matt. They're bad. Have a look at Invisible Shield. Had one on my C901 and it improved grip a lot. Also got them on my C905 ans Satio's.
The SE ICE-45 and IPC-40 fit the C901 perfectly as well.
