Dont think R1AA008 is out for orange uk yet as i cant seem to update to it using new client from R1NA005.
Has anyone else using orange uk managed to update there w800i?

Just updated my friends UK branded O2 W800i to R1AA008 using the new update service.
Quick question to people still using R1N035. When your on the main menu (Icon Menu) and you highlight an icon, does the icon repeatedly shrink slightly then return to normal size? |

Hi everybody... Having spent about 3 weeks closely following this topic, I decided the time was finally here to go for the update on my K750i from R1L002. It worked first time, now running R1AA008! 
Just wanted to thank everyone who's been putting information up on here. Cheers Tackey for that link, everything went effortlessly!! |

You don't have the EU_1. You have to look on the bottom, there it probably says EUROPE_4 (saw you had norwegian language). |

Volume on video clips also seems to be increased.
Media Player on K750i seems to load a lot faster.

Something really bad happened to me i think... I got a "error script" during flashing with the new updater. Now my phone is dead.
I am gonna try som tweaks to repair it.
Other thing, is it possible to delete the 'jre' folder and make modifications in a file to tell that the software can pick Java in Program Files directly, i have it installed there.

I have seen people here saying that they have updated on EU_ and EU_1.
I tried just now to update. I took out the sim card and the mem stick, but it still says my phone is up to date.
My Softwareinfo:
R1N035
CDA102338/38 R6A
EUROPE_2
I have debranded using DaVinci but then updated to R1N035.
Has anyone in UK update on EUROPE_2 ?

well... volume in earpiece is muuuch louder, also external speaker, for mp3 too. Screen gamma adjusted, better colours. Faster menus. Little grafic change in activity menu. Much faster picture browsing, zooming pictures. Camera quality is the same. Not better or worse. This update is the best ever.

hmm i'm a bit confused. I'm on O2 UK with R1N035. I updated with the new update client and it didnt say already up to date or anything.....and it started updating.....the bar went slowly to the end and it said updated. I turn my phone on and it still says R1N035....confused!!!
also what does ITP SW Version mean? mine says...
