@plank
on page one of this thread, you said the above. now you dont like it.
so much for 'most beautiful phone yet'
Plankis usually gets annoyed when someone points out that his opinion changes a lot sometimes. Before the K850 was released he said that CCD is the best. But when the K850 came with a CMOS sensor he changed his mind to say that CMOS rules. And since SE hasn't produced any more CCD camphones (yet) his current opinion has remained unchanged. He is very loyal to Sony Ericsson. Most of us are just like plankis, at least to some degree. We have things that we are very fond of. Some people argue about cars. Others argue about cameras. Just re-read the PIXON review over at Mobile-Review and noticed a trivial fact: they actually said C905 has a "somewhat more likable design" compared to INNOV8. And this comes from people who said W902 "should've been cancelled".
It seems that the M-R team is divided on how the world (or at least people in Russia) should see |

haha!
I don't know how anyone can say cmos is "better" than ccd. For small sensors CCD is way superior. For large sensors, for example full frame sensors, the disadvantages of cmos disappear and therefore cmos is "better" ie: cheaper for the same outcome, in DSLR cameras.
But I'd rather a CCD sensor in a small camera phone sensor anyday.
But of course that adds to the cost, and realistically I don't object to them using cmos.

I know, but the concept that the cheap arsed cmos sensors in camera phones are better than CCD just made me laugh my tits off. I had to say something.

You really have those? (t*ts I mean)
Lol.
Seriously, the CMOS sensor currently on C905 seems like an ok decision to me as long as the final retail price is justified. |

Since when has the C905 had touch keys?

well. the only cellphone who use CCD (except for some old LG) is i-mobile902, and that phone produce great night pics but its daylight pics far away from stunning...they often looks weird and have overbleached colors, etc...
i much rather use c902 camera or c905 camera with ok night and stunning daylgiht quality.
(and please, dont start to say i-mobile902 handle daylight better then N82, c902, c905...because it dosent).
(if you want some really quality with CCD you need much better optic. you have no use for a CCD sensor if you use same mediocre optic as example i-mobile902)
i-mobile902...so much for CCD sensor....
