A smaller screen is not necessarily a bad thing and the difference in size is not that much really

It will definitely not be thinner.
If you compare this device profile with z ultra (6.5mm) then this device looks to be about 7.5-8mm thin in my eyes.
could be because they want to get z2 camera sensor inside. it would not be possible with a 6.5mm device. look at this comparison between z2 and its camera sensor size: http://youtu.be/NiV2w4iAnog?t=1m59s
i'm not ignoring the possibility of this being marketed as tablet with phone capabilities, but according to this pic i'm betting it will have the 20.7mp sensor with flash. |

Yup I agree with u but if it doesn't have 20.7mp sensor with flash then it will be definitely thinner than Z ultra |

You missed my point. it won't be thinner then or 6.5mm thin as z ultra, regardless of the camera sensor size. just measure closely z ultra dimensions with this pic dimensions. look at the power button size of each pic compared to each device profile. i just use my eyes. if someone has photoshop skills then it would be easier to measure. i don't. |

That's not a tablet/mini tablet for sure as some people are assuming here!
Why would a tab have a cam key ? It's not only illogical but something that has never happened and most probably wud not happen in future either.
I just hope it's smaller than current ultra and more of flagship phablet competitor rather than some unbaked niche device. |

Ive just learned some latest info about Z3 and Z3C. So I got up in this midnight and posted for your guys without any delay：
1 Z3 will be similar to Z2 in terms of HW spec. The differences will be design, bazel and thickness. The carema will get improvement more or less.
2 The surprising device for 2nd is Z3C, which will be anounced by the end of Aug. Z3C is super-beautiful device with super-high screen ratio. The front side bazel will be super-thin and the black grid between the bazel and screen will be super-thin as well. The optical component will be thinner than that of the current ones.
The white device will have white bazel. The screen is 4.6 and 720P. The bazel is plastic-made with unique surface treatment（Im not allowed to tell the details）and the feeling is awesome. It will have new designed dual-speaker. Unfortunately, the CPU remains no change.
I myself will get Z3C for sure. |
