I dont know which firmwareversion Vodaphone is on.
R1J002 are the generic firmware, but Voda's is branded and perhaps not up to R1J002 yet. I'd check before sending it to Voda

Not really a bug would it would be a useful addition to the firmware
when I had a really low battery I noticed a blinking red LED in the irda bit on top of the phone ( I'm assuming this was to notify me of a soon to be flat battery) - it would be really cool if this LED could be used as a missed call/text mesage recieved notification light. i.e. in a noisy dark pub/club I wouln't need to take the phone out of pocket to check - just have a look at the top and see if theres a blinking LED going off - I had this on an old samsung phone and found it to be very useful.

I too have updated my O2 branded k750i and although I only had a few bugs before they all appear to have gone, plus my GPRS still works fine.
At least I can send picture messages now without it crashing!!

Has anyone else noticed that wen charging the phone through the usb cable it will never fully charge the phone, it always stops at around 85%. Just wondered if there was a reason for this?
Wheres this new firmware... >: ( |

i Totally agree with point 4 !!! same problem here, although i dont think its a bug, its a design problem !!!
as for point 5, thats for sure not a bug.
when u plug in the phone the memory stick is mounted on your computer (as if it was an external hard drive). its perfectly logical that ....

For this 5, it could be a bug.
The mp3player show fail to play songs listed in memory stick when usb
connected. For a good design, it shouldn't be like this.. |

Its not a bug the pc and the phone are not able to both access the memory stick at the same time. When the phone is plugged into the pc the pc takes control of the memory stick simple as.

I think you'll find that the phone isnt actually turning on, its jus the screen display to show the charging status. That is not a fault with your phone. |

i noticed some wierd problem.... whenever i choose a ring tone for the SMS alert, it doesn't play to the end! if i select an mp3 song for the SMS alert, it will only play for about 5 to 6 seconds and then automaticaly stops!! this makes me mad!!!! |

Does anyone elses phone reset itself after uve been watching a video (mp4)? Never happens during, but when i stop the video and go back to another menu or standby the phone just reboots itself! |

Rubbish
Has nothing to do with design and its definately not a bug.
When the external drive is mounted as a drive in the computer, this takes over control of the drive, you cannot have 2 devices (phone and pc) mounting the drive at the same time, just like you cannot have a normal drive mounted in 2 computers at the same time.
Therefore when the usb cable is connected the phone will not have access to the external memory, this is not a bug, and it will never change. |

But playing a SMS-alert for more than 5-6 seconds would make EVERYONE ELSE mad When SE designed the phone they could a have made it play for much longer but the problem is that it would be annoying for the general public. And someone would always be dumb enough to choose overly long SMS-alerts. The solution: Stop them from doing so |

My unbranded K750i (f/w R1J002) doesn't show call details on my SE Akono Bluetooth headset HBH-660. (This BT headset shows phone number / contact on the headset...)
Worked fine with my T630. Just doesn't with my K750i. Both phones are shown as compatible with this headset on the SE site.
It still works as a bluetooth headset. Anyone else have this problem with a HBH-660? |

I had my first K750i replaced the other day. It crashed constantly on standby, it couldn't go 1 hour in standby mode without freezing. It had firmware R1A044.
I've had the replacement for 48 hours and it hasn't crashed once. It also has a louder earpiece volume. The menu's and general responsiveness of the UI feels a lot slower though. Strange thing is, this new K750i has firmware R1A044!
Weird. |
