Has anyone got any pic's of the first ever pic's of the k700 so we can tell how much the phone changed when it was released? then maybe get an idea of the changes to this model!

I remember that pic, and I remember thinking how wide it looked, maybe the chamferred corners on the finished model are there to make the phone look slimmer. |

I agree with your reply; my T600 is indeed probably the smallest phone ever made - that's also why I bought it at the time.
For the record: I'm not "against" this convergence, I only wonder where its limits will apear to be, such as with the T600 which smal size was apparently just that one step further than was necessary (still, super phone, forever underestimated!). I chose the K700 also because its reasonably small size - probably most features/cm³...
So what phone will follow up the T600 in its one step to far? 5MP? 5gb? At a certain point it will all become too much to handle I guess and we will definately see phones going back to basics but with still better specs than the basics of today. Or maybe other devices will do their convergence too and will end up with a better solution, e.g. a camera with mp3/Video/digital TV/DAB/WiFi/mediapc/psp but no cellphone/PIM/PocketPC function could be the endpoint of the convergence and make cellphones with one of more of those features obsolete. Or not. In fact any device with a screen is a candidate.

Just wondering what the icon on the button on upper left hand side (same side as the ms duo slot) is?
Just a thought: can it be media player key? as the media player key (between "c" and "3" button) in V800?
Got that idea as I read the press release of SE. It says that this years focus will be music, as last years focus was dualfront (camera phones).
Hopefully they will show this phone on 14. february at 3GSM I assume, if this phone is part of their new music strategy...

SCREENSIZE
Is the screensize of it 2,2" like V800? Cause V800 also have the same resolution 176x220. So in other words K700, K750 and V800 have the same physical screensize, right?
MEMORY STICK PRO DUO
On more thing, people her was saying that on P910 the ms duo slot says "memory stick duo" and it supports PRO, therefore K750 also should do that cause the ms duo slot on this says the same. I think that this should not be concidered as sure, because both P800 and P900 had also the same ms duo slot saying "memory stick duo" and they didn't support PRO!
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I don't want PRO, I'm just telling the fact. It would be a shame to release a 2 MP cam phone, with focus on music and just alowing max 128 MB MS DUO...
PRE-PRODUCTION & LAWYERS
Isn't that strange that so many pictures have leaked in the last couple of days and no site have removed the pictures? I do remember very well what happened when the SE video leaked (with the K700 on when it still was unreleased), every site got mails from SE lawyers to remove the picture and videos.
But this time it have not happened. Why? Could SE have leaked the pictures them selves, just to get comments on the design? Or am I totally wrong?
And the phones on the pictures are defintely pre-production, as they differ in colors. The earliest pictures that Tranquil posted from M-R had a matt black/grayish color, but the lates pictures have a shiny black color, the metal slider also have a black part/stripe that wasn't there on M-R pictures. We can also see that the latest picture the back is only showing SE logo, not the name as M-R. So I think that the pictures M-R posted have the latest K750 design.
But I still hope that SE will change the back a bit, as it is too "busy", they should make it simple. Put SE logo and name where it now says "2.0 mega pixel camera, auto focus", and move this line to the smaller part of the slide design that colud not be moved (on the right-hand side), as one member here photoshopped. I liked it very much, clean and tidy!

@AMD leaks are these days sometimes driven by the company it self, the new bmw 3 series was also leaked, weeks before the offical press release - i don't want to say that bmw did it on purpose, but it helped them because that the pics that leaked where high-res pics from ads, company's realise that leaks only help to great more and more hype about their product - just look at this thread
@DeLa i don't think that we are going backwards, things will change dramatically when 3g finally reached every country
there will of course get more phones without cam, because they are simply not allowed in every area and this imagine stuff is just another trend which ends at one point, because you can't move it any further
but in the future, phones will change in terms of shape, data in and out put ... your children will proberply laught when they'll see a K700

Would anybody agree with me when i say that these days its not much about how small they can make a phone, but more about how small they can make a decent digi cam and vid recorder to build into the phone.

@AMD. Don't know about the button but I agree that SE might have developed more into the Media Player that they have currently.
At the moment the media player that is on the K700 and S700 has just Play and Pause but imagine what it would be like to include ff and rwd. That would be really cool
Now with SE's saying 2005 is going to be "The Year for Music" for them this may be possible soon.

In K700i the media player has the REV and FF feature just hold the joystick to left or right.
- I would love to have playlists in the player!!
- And I would like to be able to skip a track even when I'm using a WAP browser.. Currently I need to stop browsing, go back to the media player menu, skip a track, minimize the player, go back to WAP browser and browse the history..  |

i just hope that they don't support the drm stuff...
playlists would be cool, , a better sound quality + SRD WoW Effect support(Wishful thinkin i guess) and the support of album art and/or visual effects while music is playing
and touchsensitv operation, vaio pocket music player like
thats it
