@jon at what brnch did u purchsd d unit? Have u tried 2 inform d brnch regardng d 7th day even a single call? Regardng d bat what i notced with d ericsn bat some of them has lower mah like in r600 it has 700 mah which only last 1 -2 days on my obsrvatn

@nick u knw what? What u did was risky d worst thng hapnd on ur phne dead set!! Where ctr did u bought it? Coz in our ctr we dnt usualy cater mc upgrade may be u shld return it to them

now u got me really tense! my fone was a gift from singapore. i had it upgraded to r2d not knowing that it won't change it to the t68i fw. the center didnt even tell me so. so now this is my problem. i have thought of bringing it back to them, but they are just too out of my way. guess i have to make time for it now.  |

Hi nick! I heard that there is really no available upgrade yet for the mc here in the phils yet. Read in this thread that MFB had to have his unit brought to singapore for an upgrade. Maybe you can private message him to ask him where exactly :-) from what i heard thats really the problem of mc users e.

at the "other side." i think the technician didnt notice that i had MC when he did the r2d upgrade then. it was partly my fault too that i didnt tell them that i had MC, ano naman ang alam ko noh? i just wanted to have the i firmware. boy oh boy!

i heard about the singapore upgrade, but the problem is how could i send it over? for how long? and its way too not practical to spend soo much, don't u think?

@nick: yeah. Its really too much of a hassle to bring it to sg. Can you bring it back to the center you had it flashed and tell them the problem. I guess they should have checked it too before tinkering with it. Dont lose hope. Im sure may solution yang problema na yan

mfb has posted the address.. u can send fedex or dhl but of course u have to inform sg side abt this, plus return shipment cost. just log on to sg thread and ask for the phone of SE Sg |

fxy... i think R2D is a patch, added to the old SW, whereas R2B025 is a total upgrade from the old sw.. R2E is also a patch added to the R2B025 |

thanks for all the info you gave me, but i wouldn't consider sending it over to singapore just yet. i don't think it is practical to spend so much and having little assurance of what they can do for me. but i'll give it a thought though.
i'll try to go back to the other side and see what they can do about it.
