Wooohooo, finally after much badgering of OSPS, chasing their ever illusive sales staff and even having to pay orange a 600quid deposit before they would authorise the connection we now have the tracking number for our batch of phones.

Hey it only took over a month.....

After MUCH phoning over the last couple of days, I at last have a tracking number for my replacement P900 - only a 5 weeks since I sent it back. They did cancel my contract with Orange when they realised they wouldn't get any in for a while, so I only had to pay £3 for the few days usage I got out of it

OSPS had a bad run with the P900. They dealt with the situation badly: the fact that they employ what can only be described as a red-arsed monkey colony did not prove effective at all.

But at least we're all getting our phones at last.

Cheers.

My P900 arrived at 8:00 am this morning (saturday) - works perfectly, and is squeak free at the moment (my old one squeaked right out of the box).

@carlhunt, be carefull about buying a phone contract to downgrade imediatly, i would only do it if buying through CPW when getting an Orange contract, as most of the other dealers will put a note in the contract about reclaiming the money from you, OSPS have a clause that warns you not to do it, someone on here did downgrade successfully early on o2, but they could get a nasty bill when it is spotted.

Reminder; milk, sugar, crisps, post letter.
