Tomorrow SD 845 will likely get announced. Any one else is excited? Leaks point to A75/A53 combo but I hope they turn out wrong

PS:yeah he is hitting new levels of delirium lately

Sony has been using multiple frame noise removal since original X and X performance. I can post the link to that if you want. It's less effective than the competition that's all

Very excited abou S845 reveal! How do you think it will stack up against A11?

I believe everybody was expecting 4 A75 + 4 A55.
But I do not mind.
Just hope the 8 cores dont work all the time like the 810.
Even cpu z can make it reach 2GHz easily.

Is Sony bringing simple phones like R1/R1+?
It would be perfect for my parents.
R1 seems better than XA and E5.

Well The GPU will beat A11 that's for sure. Even 835 GPU beats A11 easily. i don't think single core performance will beat A11 but that doesn't matter as much as tech sites like to point out. Every modern and well written android app fully utilizes multiple cores.I would love to see dynamic IQ but pretty sure it requires A55 cores. Overall I'm guessing 20% CPU performance improvement over 835

Thanks for the input guys.

20% improvement over S835 is OK. Nothing to write home about but a decent upgrade for sure. I guess the big improvement will come in '19 when we get 7nm SoC-s. I'll be going with the (Sony's) S845 phone however.

No problem. I think this year qualcomm will bet big on the NPU. Hopefully it'll be the best in class. We'll find out soon. I will be upgrading to the new flagship too.might go with the bigger sibling for a change.5.2 has always been the sweet spot for me.

My only concern is that it's really hard to root a Sony phone these days. I had a..... Time rooting and patching the oreo update.
