@rukna: Very nicely done! Tolerable noise still there, but mine also produces similar or worse results.

I think that's because using spot + macro makes the camera focus even more on the center - making the background darker. But I experimented with it and have to agree with you

Here are some pics which I took last week during my holidays with the even Snow-Resistant C702.... They're a bit white xD
First one...
This is with worse light conditions....
Basically the same scene with different weather and light....

3rd picture from top looks like a scene from Lord of the Rings, cool.

I dunno if it's me but doesn't most (if not all) of the pics taken here have a glare to it when taken under the sunlight? It's hard not to notice it. Is it due to the EV value or the cam? Coz if it's the EV then it can be corrected.
I am seriously interested in the C702 so please clear my doubts about this phone, camera-wise.

Maybe it's the Esato watermark you are seeing. Images uploaded on Esato server have this watermark.

No no. It's not watermarks. I mean almost all of the pictures taken under sunlight give the impression that it's taken under a sunny day and the color of those pics look a little faded.
From what I see, no matter how clear the object in the picture is, if it's taken under the sun the whole picture looks a bit faded, or like it's taken in a very sunny day.
Some also have like a blueish tint to it.
My current phone is a W810i so I'm unfamiliar with the post-processing a cybershot phone does compared to the non-cybershot phones. I was wondering if it over-processes a picture to a point that the edges of the object looks faded, or it's the EV.
I realise that cybershot phone photos have like an over-processed feel to the edges of objects and whites of the picture.
Do enlighten me.
