It's changed quite a bit hasn't it. Shame the final designs never come out like the prototypes (cf. pic on p.3 of this thread)

So what are the two little circles on the black bits. Am I right in thinking the black bits are now fixed and the circles are the buttons?

The Bluespoon is out by now I'm really happy about this,..it feels great. Nextlink are doing a super-job at this

The production-Bluespoon actually looks a lot like the first ones I did.
Of course some stuff have been changed a bit, to accomodate all the interior parts But the basic design and "look/style" are the same, and looks very much the same as the prototype.

The two small button-look-alikes are different in design, so that people can feel the difference,..they "stand up" a bit from the sleek design
The buttons are actually the whole black area,..not just the small round parts.
The Bluespoon upper-design-casing itself is a one-piece-moulding,..so You have to have some idea of where to push, hehe.
Its actually very easy to use...and for some operations you use both buttons simultaniously

Ugggh, those black buttons look horrible!! Why not make them the same blue as the curved 'swoosh'. Even a dark grey would have been better, as it is they make it look very 'cheap' (which is most certainly is not!)

Jan, Would you please post a real life picture with someone wearing the production version of the BS? - I think that the scale is the biggest problem, when judging the design... Anyway I like it

Jep, Jan.
I think you should post a picture of yourself wearing a production BS. I think the the reactions to the buttons here are probably because ppl. are not used to look at pictures that are 3-4 times actual size (depending monitor size and resolution). However, put you ugly mug in the picture as well, and nobody will have a doubt. Trust me.

Actually, the finish of the BS in thoose pictures is just awsome. There are not many products you can enlarge that much, and still not see any flaws. I can't even tell where the switch joins the case!!

Thats just like the T66. If you see a picture without any size reference, it looks huge, heavy and clonky. In short ugly. However in reality it's probably the smallest phone available.

Also that closeup-photo is using a bit hard spot-light, isn't it? The marks on the BS shows extremely pronounced.

I'm looking forward to it
In the mean time, I'll look forward to more pictures!

The production bluespoon is more a black spoon, i really liked that blue colour on the prototype. I've been waiting months and its finally out, but i still havnt seen any pics of it being worn by the user. I dont understand - does it go in the ear, outside the ear?

Also, will it be available in high street shops as well as specialised electronic retailers because i want to see it before my eyes before buying it.
