I have one more question. Im not sure if the guy in the Vodafone store was clueless or not but he said this phone only takes upto 4 giga byte cards. Is that correct or not. Thanks.
No, no, hes wrong. Theoretically it can take up to 32GB cards, but those don't exist yet!
Oh yeah, and my C902 just arrived this morning! I'm loving it so far. Awesome phone with an awesome camera!

Typical of mobile phone shops so many just dont know what they are talking about. Sometimes i seem to know more than they do. I thought it was strange cos it would be stupid if SE only allowed upto 4 giga byte capacity when they sell 8 giga byte ones. |

Thaks borg!
@Bonovox: Every A200 phone is capable of up to 32GB if 32GB M2s ever become available. Some shop staff are just idiots. If I had gone to that shop and they had told me that, I would have made a proper effort to go somewhere else to buy it, just because of their stupidity. I don't reward stupidity!

It's not the shops fault, Sony's own website says up to 8gb cards are supported. It used to say 4gb when the phone first came out! |

Yes, well that's because at the moment, Sony only makes M2 cards up to 8GB capacity. But as soon as larger capacities come out, I expect they'll update things. However, the Sony 8GB M2 only just came out, so I'd say its a while off.

well sandisk 8gb have been out for a while and are getting alot cheaper, so surely it can't be too long before 16gb comes along?

Yeah I get the feeling Sandisk aren't too far away with a 16 gigabyter. I'd say Sony Ericsson won't change their website until the Sony ones are out though, cause I bet they'd rather people don't buy the Sandisk and buy Sony instead!

But i find in general what i know sometimes to be right shop staff have no clue. I find here in UK places like Phones4U are dreadful. They are programmed like robots. Anyway im surprised at Sony with no 16 gig yet cos im sure i have seen a 16 gig micro SD. Even some review i read somewhere said the Nokia N82 only does upto 2 giga byte cards. I was thinking I DONT THINK SO. |

Seems like the new update for VF branded C902s gives them a new look on the icons... read: ugly.
You'll get the typical b/w battery indicator. And some more mostly uncoloured icons. |

Yeah i noticed the ugly icons on the Vodafone C902. Why do they do it why do they think customers will prefer it. They were small individual coloured icons which looked like a kid had drawn them. Horrible. Why did they do that on this phone but they have not customised the C702. |

Hi,
I am about to make a purchase on the C902 and it is actually the first SE phone I will be buying. I notice that the C902 has three "models", one being C902i, the others are C902c (for China) and C90ca (for America). I want to get the C902i partly because of the HSDPA which C902c and C902a do not have so if someone can tell me how to distinguish between these models? Of course I can simply find a 3G network to test the phone but is there another way? Like checking serial numbers or phone options?
Thanks in advance. |

Press this key combination >*<<*<* from standby. Go to Service info/model info and you will see there if the phone is C902i, C902a or C902c .
