@mongoose3800
Did you deliberately shake your hands while taking pictures with K850i?
Or they were taken in VGA resolution and expanded to 800x600?
I have taken a lot of indoor pictures at all kinds of light conditions and every single one was sharp. |

Hehe, plankgatan i think the images showing the nokia accessories taken by our K850 camera is blurred, maybe human error as i can see the second k850 pic looks sharper than the 2nd K800 sample i think mongoose also experience this

You guys just blame everything else except the real cause. . Most K850 indoors pict are noisy and blurry (view at FULL res). Look at the following:-

Actually, I laugh at you for being so damned one sided. Have you escaped from a mental asylum or are you on the SE payroll. I was only trying to demonstrate the photos in shrunken form to demonstrate that 3mp look the same as 5mp when shrunken - I was getting down to your level. Yes, I REALY DO THINK K850 TAKE SO UNSHARP PICTURES - Not all the time but quite frequently - I just proved it and so have many others including people who review phones professionally. Why would people be laughing? People like you would typically laugh in a dismissing manner when shown evidence that contradicts your claims. Do you think I made up the photos? The photo's are not be well composed (I know that) but they do show clear deficiencies in the image quality from the K850 when compared to the less capable K800.
Why are you such a rude and arrogant pig? I am trying to have an honest and decent debate here and you just stoop to childish comments, criticise and dismiss everyone. Here's the simple truth - you are a hypocrite. Here's just one example from your recent past - Less than 4 months ago you were saying this when people were complaining about the K800 picture quality:
"eeehhh. learn your k800 camera. when you have done that, you will get very good quality.
just take a look att the k800/k810 thread. i have many many k800/k810 pics who is awesome. (like i said. learn your camera settings/features)
i have not seen one single Macro/Portrait/low light pic who is better then k810 (k800). the only pics ive seen who is better then k810 is landscape with N95. (but only landscape). "
What's that? And now you've found them? You now you claim this:
"i have both k800/k810 and many indoor pictures...and most of them have fairly bad quality".
Oh, and everyone reading this who wants a good laugh, go and have a look at k800/k810 thread (http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=153828&start=0 ) and look at the pics Plank posted - Another amazing collection of shrunken images with very similar image qualities to the K850. He even claims K810 takes better macro shots than N95. But now K810 is bad. mmm. Think about it. Check out his profile and read his past posts. A very biased, often rude, stuborn and one sided poster. |

No, I honestly took the photo's the same way with both camera's. I took the photos with no bias at all. I stood as still as I could. The photo's are straight out of the camera and totally untouched. I was actually hoping the K850 photo's would be better and that maybe i was wrong and plank was right as I can admit if I'm wrong. But the results are true and fair - like it or not. |

This time weapons are phones, not guns and bombs, the thicker the phone the higher trauma it could inflict to the victim

With so many biased opinions in this thread, how can anyone believe 100% that they are posting the 'best' comparison pictures of each phone?
I've seen both great and rubbish pictures from both phones but neither compare to a half decent Digicam.
Blowing up pictures 100% and picking out flaws is very easy to do with both phones so I'm not quite sure where this thread is heading, other than personal insults and implying that each other is mental.

this thread is going nowhere and was well laboured weeks ago. Now its just everyone elses opinions against your own. Lets leave it at that and close this thread? I dont see any new discussions going on that prove anything? |

Not according to these reviews:-
http://www.phonearena.com/htm[....]-Review-review-r_1846-p_5.html
We are disappointed by the Sony Ericsson K850 and how it performs as a camera. Really, considering it is the top Cyber-shot branded phone, it should be one of the best on the market, but the comparison with the old N95 and the G600 shows different things.
http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_[....]50_vs_nokia_n95-review-162.php
In this heavy-weight championship series the Sony Ericsson K850 managed to collect a total of 31 points, while the Nokia N95 managed to beat it by a slight margin with a total of 34 points. Those numbers are indicative only and you should give more weight to the results of the tests that matter most to you. It was a close call, but this time we prefer the Nokia model.
http://smape.com/en/reviews/n[....]Ericsson_K850ivsNokia_N95.html
Sony Ericsson were able to design a well-balanced 5 Mpix camera phone which isn’t bad at all at taking pictures but it has very few advantages over the N95 while the latter was able to beat its competitor in quite a number of tests.
http://www.phonedaily.com/news/?news_id=6166
translated...N95 relatively stronger/better color and showing more photo details gives N95 a small win (over K850)
