i wonder if i am i the only one who finds that the k850 not only attracts grease but alot of dust too!! i find myself paranoid of dust getting into the camera lens 
so any tips on how to keep dust away from the phone? esp the keypad area...attracts ALOT of dust
in my k750, display messages (eg. folder is empty) will "disappear" on it's own after about 3 seconds. but i noticed that with the k850, u must click on OK before the pop up window disappears. kindda made me realise how i took that for granted on the k750 haha

yeah.. i find that annoying too after deleting a message that you need to hit the ok button to continue.

I just got my spanking new K850i today and I hate that the screen goes completely blank (and black!) after a few mere seconds. At least with the K750i, I could set it to go to the time and whenever text messages came in...even in standby mode, you'd see a little envelope next to the time, right?!
Can anyone help a damsel in distress? Do I have to always press something on the phone to activate it just to check if there're any messages when I come back to my desk?

@nicole, sad to say yes you do have to press the volume button to check if you recieved a SMS or missed call and standby clock.

Thanks, Ryan. I just found that info on another forum. Sigh. Why why why? I love SE phones but why did they take that "feature" away?
I find it such a chore now. |

ok i know this is not really a request thread...but i'm not planning to start a new thread on this. bugs aside (wrt camera) a nice feature to add would be image preview (as in sony digital cameras) so that when u choose a scene or iso setting, the image on the screen changes according to the values of the new settings. on my sony T3 camera, it made selecting the iso/ev/light/etc settings easier. if this feature could be added in the next firmware upgrade, it'll be really cool and make getting the right settings for a photo easier too! |

can someone please tell me what headphones come with the phone as standard please? Are they similar to the walkman earphones? |

The black color, normal headset.

"damsel " WOW ... haven't seen a lady refer to that in a LONG time. Wow, you must truely be something special nowadays.

I've just had my K850 replaced today at CPW and it's significantly better. The case doesn't creak anymore for a start, and it just feels more solid.

Well i slept on the problem why my phone doesn't turn on anymore(you can read about it further down) and i concluded that it might be a firmware issue. I tuned it off to get rid of those "ghost pictures" that i already had erased but still showed up as blank pictures when watching in media menu.
It seems as you can re-install the firmware via your home computer.
So i will take it to the service centre and there i believe they can do a "forced" re-installation. I will also see if the can solve the problem with , sometimes occouring, distorted sound that some of us get when talking to somebody. |
