@gseh88

I would be happy to explain to you the procedure by msn/icq

Or if not, I am preparing a manual anyway

Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

@gbrooks3

I'm in bed with horrible flu so will be out of action for the next few days. Maybe by then your manual will be out! Thanks for the offer anyway.

Ok, I think I have found out one fix SE did in the second firmware of P1i - they have fixed the not-always or well working call log. Before update, while using Advanced Call manager, I often was unable to see a person trying to call me that got rejected by Advanced Call Manager. Now the call log sees and registers all connection attempts.
Best regards,
PH

@701: I really don't want to get on your nerves, but for me Advanced Call Manager failing to register call attempts in the builtin call log register is totally useless... I have been suggested to upgrade firmware by the producer of the ACM by the way...

PH

For me it's ok, I got used to it. But i'll have to make it GW1 in order to update and that's pretty annoying right now.

I find it "amusing" that Ares is talking about the next firmware release when poor sods like me with Irish CDA (/55) are still waiting to get the current release. Using wifi especially for email continually hangs my phone and I'm hoping the new firmware will improve this.

Hi like you I was dubious to use XS++ at first as I also had CDA55.
However once I realised that you only use the software to change the CDA and then after that you use Sony Ericsson Update I felt much better and took the plunge. Glad I did! No WiFi crashes and the dreaded long text/email reply bug has gone forever.

I would defo give it a try if you can (back up first though).

One thing I've noticed on this new firmware is the when a text message reaches 203 characters (equivlent to sending 2 messages). The 204th character changes the message count to send it in 4 messages

My P1i is Generic World 1

Phone: CXC 162037 R9H004
Bluetooth: CXC 162143 R1D
Organiser: CXC 162108 R6E30
CDA: CDA 162022/1 R6E29
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose

it is not helpful to resurrect the old fw thread when the new one has just been created.

never mind when its to ask a completely off-topic question

gseh88, sorry, i always get GW CDA phones, so i always get the firmware when its first out

why donīt you change your CDA to GW???

Hi Ares... and everyone else.
I am tired of my CDA now! And looking in to change it with XS++ but I'm not sure what to change to. What CDA is GW? can i change only to 1 or 2 after the /

My CDA for now is 162024/78
Should I then change it to 162024/1?

Or is this somehow automatic in xs++?

I tried to find the answers here but either my search technic is bad or my eyes blind...

By the way.. is this tread dead? Am i in the wrong place?
Feel lost.. have been away from Esato to long..

Would anyone perhaps know if the latest P1i firmware for Dutch phones (The Netherlands) is already available through SEUS?
It seems to take much, much longer this time (two months...) to get the Dutch one up there. What is going wrong?
