Thanks for the link, but I've been actually updating that page myself...! So it's not too helpful for me if I'm the only one updating my CDA for the time being haha... Hence, I still have to go through the SEUS update check process myself.

To everyone who are upgrade new firmware:

There is any Picture & Sound(through headset) quality difference between new firmware(R9GA001) and previous firmware (R9G007)?

Thanks

The camera seems to be better with the latest (last!) firmware. Autofocus is better, even in low light conditions. Previously it was very difficult to focus in Night mode. This works quite well now.
Sound quality through HBH-DS970 is still not too good. Playing the track "Given Up" from Linking Parks latest with Mega Bass turned on makes the sound "drown". (Having said that, A2DP support on the P990 is a dream compared to the pain I experienced with my i-mate JasJam...)

Have a look at Asri Al-Baker's comments on the latest firmware at AllAboutSymbian.

You should upgrade both, the fw for the bug fixes and your headphone for better sound.

Go & get the Sennheiser CX-300 and experience the real improvement. [addsig]

. . .

The HPM-70 doesn't have any active components, AFAIK,, so no upgradable firmware. It is the same headset that was bundled with the W800i.

@Abu

Upgrade hpm-70 = replace it with SH CX-300

I am pretty sure, that everyone (incl. you) has understood that.

@myth®

Still in a bad mood, eh? Some people were born without a sense of humor. I bet you outgrew yours. Or maybe an accident?

Well since I am now running a Vista PC I cant seem to be able to find a way to download and or install via SEUS.

Does anyone have a work around?
I have not found a download file or the update on the SE page.

Thanks

i used fring flawlessly in my previous firmware in R5A17. but after upgrading to this latest firmware i cant exchange voice. i even cant make fring test call. i installed both the plugins that require to install. so what i need to do now? i already installed the latest version of fring. but the globe icon became fade when i want to make call. comes back to blinking when i drop the call. any clue u guys? any body faced this problem?

Hi guys!! I upgraded my P990 to the latest firmware more than a week ago (CDA162007/2 R6E28). Out of curiosity, I attached my phone via SEUS again today. I was expecting to see a "Latest Firmware installed" notice but didn't. Instead, I was given an update notice for Generic World 2. SEUS is supposed to indicate if your phone already has the latest fw installed, right? Does this mean there is really a new fw or is it just the same?
