I recived my P1 on 1st August it looks nice it feels OK But it has never been able to attach to 3g or GPRS on either T-Mobile or Vodafone either in the UK or in France or Italy, GSM signal strength was poor and the pouch was full of glue which then transfered itsself to the handset I arrived back in the UK last night and the P1 is on its way back to expansys for a full refund tomorrow!
I hope I just had a duff one or is this just indicative of  sending out an unfinished item just like to P990i I am a bit disapointed in the P1 so far
I have owned the ... T68i T610, P800, P900, P910, P990, W950, P1, W960 But SE have now totally lost the plot. |

ok its true the pouch has glue on it, but i have never had gprs or 3g problems here in belgium, installs and connects automatically.
like i never had wifi problems, not even when scanning.
too bad about the pouch, because i had to buy a samsonite case  |

I read about the glue problem in the Glue from P1 case thread and although mine was not bad I tried a couple of the solutions there which seemed to do the job. I've ended up getting a Bugatti case anyway
I've had zero problems with 3g connectivity on t-mobile so it sounds like you were unlucky (again)

I have no probs with 3G or GPRS on Voda UK with BB Connect running always... |

yes i did that still sounds bad.....yes u're stumped.
but i put it on mega bass and im currently trying how the songs are while outside.

um... i hate bringing up wat was already said from the past but my k750i camera is better than my P1i camera.
And i hate Sony ericsson's cheap "video streaming" it doesn't even stream on that lame mobile youtube site thats ment for any dump phone to use.
if anyone was able to use the video streaming feature well, please tell me that site you went to.

sunking101--- so do you not get a shutdown tone when you power off? you get a funny static noise?

m.youtube.com works. Those are converted to 3gp format already. Unfortunately, the P1i lacks support for Flash, so no go for the full website. |

Its very odd I get no GPRS indicator and if I touch the Icon I get a message saying 3g not attached I checked that 3g is activated! but no go so I think mine was a duff one. I am going to try to source another one as soon as Expansys send me back my money.

Btw, i dont think this bug ever mentioned, but have anyone experienced phone crash when running the storage wizard, going from step 1/3 to 2/3?
Mine keeps crashing and said the reason is USER and problem number 9 |
