To imply that K800 is equal to N73 in terms of technology is very naive. N73 is the more advanced phone in term technology period.

I just visited a mate's phone shop and happened to try his N73--for the first time in my life--hehe,funny right? What a phone. The picture taken is awesome,of vivid color, really. The red color is displayed just brightly. Yet, the phone is slower..I prefer my K800i--the fastest phone I've had so far. I just don't like the feminime look of N73. My K800i is really for a boy like me..lol. |

@aremaboy its interesting what u say there about the colours and look of n73. indeed, the colours nokia launched n73 arent that "masculin", would be interesting to see it in black for exmaple

Oops
Its just that the N73 is like a mix of
The slide cover like a K750, Their grill like speaker housing.
The jostick, the square layout of keys.

There is a site collecting the all reviews. And K800i is a bit better

Even the user rating is better!

Both are good devices, both are apparently stable, both have advantages/disadvantages over one another so the decision making factor has to be personal preference as opposed to technology.
I am a perfect example of such pickiness: I dont do clamshell or slider phones; I wont accept a camera phone without a lense cover; I hate the " " (space button) on the Nokia. These are not failings but simply personal choices.
Perhaps these sort of topics should be closed once they hit 25 pages as quite clearly the "k800i or N73, which is better" question has not found a result.
Kind Regards.

To call the n73 a smartphone is correct....as that is what it is...is has its own os, and can multitask (not just java programs ala k800). so how you come to the conclusion that the n73 isn't a smartphone is quite a stretch. |

K800i and N73 are on par , where the k800i is Quicker and more reliable the N73 can lock anything with a password and have a slideshow screen saver with some symbian apps , i think the n73 is better for messaging and calls aswell , my w850i beats my n73 in music and speed only. |
